A Serious Abuse Issue [CLEAARED]ES

The fact that we have no sort of definite reprimand for throwing games intentionally.

Granted, this is something extremely difficult to prove, but in instances where a player specifically states within the game chat that they are going to try their damndest to simply prevent another player from winning I would think there is some sort of punishment that could be applied. Obviously, there is not, and this is a huge issue now as CC has grown over the years and attracted the worst that the internet has to offer and not just those that are avid fans of the game.

I've never been able to buy a premium before recently, so I've never thought it my place to complain beyond helping catch a few multis (loooong ago), but now I am seriously regretting paying to play more than 4 games. I'm not trying to threaten that I'll "take my business elsewhere", because I know CC really wouldn't give a damn at this point, but it's upsetting to see so little done to deter blatant abuse of the "rules" beyond what can be concretely proven.

This isn't the US, mods need not adhere to the old standard of "innocent until proven guilty". I would think someone with the power to do something would also be a person of good judgement, i mean, it's why they have power, right? Obviously reviewing the logs would be too much of a task, so I'm simply asking that if it's possible for someone to review the chat in games where players blatantly target another and if they could dole out some sort of punishment (point deletion?).

If anyone's wondering, dinamo (Game 6493161) and serialkiller74 (Game 6439423) sparked this.

reading through it you are making truces in games that some players find is cheating as well so are you going to complain about yourself. ussually if you make a truce players will come after you as you are ussually in a strong position to do it.

actually... Payback is a very real part of the game, and an absolutely necessary one.

It is the single most psychological factor of any game, and its why we play humans and not computers.

If you attack someone too much, they may get mad, and smash you emotionally. they may even take you out for it.

It might be for breaking your bonus, hitting a stack, hitting too much, or even something in the chat. In any one given game, even throwing a game by retaliating is completely ok. Its a basic part of the game.

If it is done because of another game, for a friend, for forum issues, or done repeatedly, then it is intentionally joining a game to throw it, and that is illegal.

2010-02-17 23:46:20 - Zackismet: hey red- if i let you keep your bonus next time, will you harass green or just amass your men in SA?

is this also you not asking a player to throw a game in your favour as my interpretation of it is i will let you keep your bonus if you attack only green

Retaliatory attacks are part of the game. In the first game red thought you were attacking him so he attacked you. You mention in the chat of the one game that you don't like it when someone takes the fun out of the game for you. With the way you talked in the chats it doesn't surprise me. serialkiller74 and dinamo are CLEARED.
