Let me see if I get this straight. I am accussed of cheating because it "seems to you" that I had more troops that you think is right on a game with fog and because I took territories in the first found of a manual troops placement game. That is pretty outrageous.


What is the process for this? I beat her fair and square and would prefer not to have this baseless accusation against me just because someone is a sore loser. Can an admin check logs or something like that?

Do you have any actual evidence at all to substantiate your claim? Or just baseless, abject accusations?

Are you sure that you calculated spoils, every possible bonus, and every possible region he could have held (and every region marked with a ? - If you can't see it, he can still own it.)? If it was a fog of war game, I can't help but question this.
Did you happen to take any screenshots? Now that the game is over, calculating the number of troops he SHOULD have recieved will be much more difficult. Unless, of course he recieved a outrageous number of troops (like 70 per turn or something).

The fact that my school's filter is blocking this particular game is also making it a bit harder for me to make an accurate decision ATM.

Time for you to buy a new calculator. He missed a turn and got deferred troops at the end. You've never seen that happen before with all of the games you've played?

Her first accusation follows up a turn after he forted 10 guys to washington [round 10] - then used these guys to take president the next turn and forted 4 guys to launch code from a bunker.

The next turn he used a set and retook the president with probably 20-23 guys on it. And then forted 6 over to the launch code.

Perhaps you missed that reinforcement Queen... Nothing looks overly fishy with the game log to me.

I don't think the missed turn caused any discrepancy in Queen_Herpes count.

If paul could mysteriously make armies appear, Im pretty sure he'd be of a higher rank, though he would be so ingenious, that perhaps he would know better and only use it occasionally, like in a pivotal game against a Queen in arms race...when the stake were real high.

I think its safe to say this is probably more bad math than computer mastermindedness at work

I saved someone from this kind of embarrassment last night. He was absolutely sure that someone hacked the code and changed the game from freestyle to sequential during the game. Absolutely sure of it. When I told him to just go through the log, and look for just one instance of simultaneous play, he of course could not find it.

It was more likely that he just forgot to hit freestyle when making the game. Its far more likely that you understimated and counted the number of armies he could have. Always look for the more reasonable solution first...if you prove it impossible, then move onto other ones. It will save you, and many, lots of time.

Usually this advice is given to the new players though...

And though I may seem high and mighty....Ive had plenty of times i thought something was amiss in this game. I just thank god I realized I was crazy before actually posting it.................................usually.

Game 6636711 I lost 15 troops to eliminate 3 of Thufir Hawat troops. I believe this script has been used in this game to manipulate the "random" dice.

I think paullb is providing this script to new recruits as well.

There is no such script. The troops he received were given to him based on territories & bonuses he owned, and extra ones were provided as deffered troops after missed turns.

Only us mods have access to dice and troop scripts and we keep it very tight to the hip so it doesnt get out.. he doesnt have it..
