Suspected Secret Alliance (not multis!)

Suspect users: Lazaruslong and aceofcups

Game number: 142062

Comments: Everyone built up their own area, me in Australia, red (aceofcups) in europe, green (lazaruslong) in africa. They never attacked each other after they established their continents, despite the fact that red could have easily attacked Africa from green. When I called them out, one of them said it was "common sense". 5 rounds later, they still hadn't attacked each other. Each of them attacked blue, but not each other. In the most recent round, I attacked Europe, Europe retaliated and took over Australia, then left 1 army on every country in Europe --- Africa STILL hasn't attacked even 1 country in Europe to break up the continent bonus. That was the last straw for me.

I firmly believe they agreed not to attack each other when I started building up in Australia. That's perfectly acceptable, but they never announced it in the game chat. If there wasn't an alliance, red would have taken out green a long time ago or at least.

I hate to do this because these guys seem like long time players here and I have nothing against them, but an alliance like this is unfair and ruins the game for others. Sorry for the long story. This is the first time I've ever had to do this and I hope it's the last time :)

Your kinda being ridiculous... as Green said its common sense they don't attack each other. Even without a continent you have more guys then anyone else in the game. Why would green want to take Europe and spread himself out? That would just make it easier for you to hit him.

Why wouldn't green take just one country to prevent Red from building up, if they weren't helping each other. I've never seen anything so blatant in any of the games I've played.

No cards games are played differently, if you spend some time and go look at some other no cards games with good players, this is how they play.

500 people are going to explain this to you

borders go undefended all the time....ive shared many of them with laz, but at some point i attack him and he attacks me

in no cards games you can have five people with territories never attacking the other...waiting for the right time

i will tell you this....if you dont know this...you are going to lose that game

do yourself a favor, laz is one of the nicest guys in here, and one of the most honest

ace of he have played or are in 9 games together he has won one, and ace of cups won one if they were working together the number would be 3 times that

by contrast laz and i have played 6 together and he has won 4 of them
though maybe 2 of those are doubles...granted you have to take my word for it that i have never entered any secret alliance ever, and never will

do a little research before making such a claim to save everyone some grief

look at all of his games check out how he plays, check out my games and look at how many rounds they have gone...and many have gone more...ive been in games where no one attacks significantly for 20 or 30 rounds, and i know others go for a 100 rounds without attacks...the key to no cards is to build and make your move not attack at all times and all directions...unless you are dominating

dont ruin that game by continuing to throw out those accusations...just concentrate on your strategy, relax and try to win and you are in good position to do so, so dont blow it on a crazy move because you are not thinking rationally

appologize and move on...

just trust me

laz...we need a few more, and im gonna have to squash you...its kind of embarassing now

I'll retract this message. Lazaruslong offered a very thorough and polite explanation in the game chat. I appreciate his courtesy in handling this. I also appreciate AAfitz's input.

Put it down to my inexperience and an occasionally rather excitable nature :)

This whole episode is especially painful because I make it a point to stay out of the game chat in most games when it comes to making alliances and trash-talking. So much for that game plan.

I hope I haven't offended anyone -- if so, I offer my apologies.

Aznin

PS I will still do my best to win that damned game though. :)

What I can say, Lazaruslong and aceofcups are CLEARED of being multiple accounts. Regarding any secret alliances, feel free to leave the appropriate feedback and/or add them to your ignore list.
