Umfold and I were having a simple disagreement, but his tone quickly got ugly. He started using excessive hateful, homophobic language. He also shifted the competitive balance of the game by attacking only me.

While I agree to the offensiveness of his chat, what you have quoted is from the forum and PM/Wall rules. Game chat is usually a different animal, and it is judged leniently. Also, (again I'm just stating past precedent, not my views), there is some discussion as to what constitutes homophobia (in this context persecuting a gay individual) and the use of the type of language umfold employed in your chat log flame war.

i guess we'll see how the mods shake it out.
