Accused:

cpsigmtr

The accused are suspected of:

Other: <Stalking>

Game number(s):

Game 6378536
Game 6326580
Game 4411821

Comments:While playing a game (6326580) with cpsigmtr I became very suspicious of play between him and vollrath73. I did a little investigation and quickly found a game where they were the first two to sign up, there were 8 players and it was a busy map going 11 rounds. Not once in the entire game did either of these players attack each other.

Not having the evidence to support an accusation, but having enough evidence to warrant further inquiry, I politely asked what was up. I ended my posting with "please respond".

Note: A contributing factor is the fact that this guy has a very low rank, has strategy that supports his rank, yet constantly seeks out high ranked players to play with. This leads to very inexperienced play that at times throws the other players for a loop when they are expecting a standard type play in certain situations.

In any event, his response was a little less than cordial. After the game he joined a game that I had started. At the time he joined there was only one other player seated. Despite this he is claiming coincidence. He started with the hostilities almost immediately and continued with them, bringing up stuff from the previous game, as opposed to our current game. After this he went on a massive attack as if we were playing assassin and I was his target.

Do I have a remedy and will conquer club step in to resolve this problem? It's not just about winning or rank, although I monitor both, but is about simply having fun. I and the other players did not sign up for that and it tends to ruin the game. Thanks in advance, stealth99

If this is only about him stalking you, Foeing him would take care of that.

I can't see anything else that would warant any major action... :-s

If you care to take a look stealth, you fired the first shot in the game you are now whinning about...and I looked all over the rules for the part of not being able to challange players above your own rank, but was unable to find it.
and I already foed you so don't worry about that part either

Thanks for your reply and taking the time to help. I agree for the most part, but I put it here in part for others to put it together with their own experiences and so that the site would have the opportunity to ck into the multi possibility if they so desired. I feel that if someone is stalking once they will do it again when someone extends him the same courtesy that I did.

So sig, your defense is that because I asked you to consider the leader before you attacked me, and because I then made a gentle but critical comment about your play after you ignore warning etc. If I interpret you correctly this is grounds for suiciding a game and stalking a player to ruin another game?

As for the comment about rules and challenging players way above your skill level, your point would be a great one if I had previously indicated that you broke a rule. Just like you over-reacted in the game when I asked about the multi and you twisted that into an accusation, now you create your own little thing to get worked up over rather than focus on reality.

What I did claim was that your actions are disrespectful, you are trying to get the big hit for your rank. Perhaps the biggest problem is that your strategy level is significantly lower (absolutely no disrespect intended) and that messes up the game for 7 other players. Most players tolerate it all the time and say very little, but when it leads to this crap and you act and talk like a pro while play like the opposite, then I feel a comment is warranted.

As for you foeing me, I am glad but find it amusing. It wasn t me stalking you. You foeing me is like a wife beater taking out a restraining order against his wife. Kinda silly, but it looks good. So long dude, time to end it. You are welcome to the last word.

If you are talking about game 4411821 that was a team game and they were on the same team.

Not everyone is going to use the same tactics as you, throwing other players for a loop sounds like a good tactic to me. Do something they aren't expecting.

To be honest with you, you accused him of cheating without any proof. I can blame him for his response.

He joined one other game with you. When I join games I don't always remember if I played the others already in the game.

The only remedy right now is put him on your foe list. He won't be able to join any games you are in and you won't be able to see any of his post.

What make's you think he likes the way you treated in the game chat. It is a two way street.

Just foe him and you won't have to play him again.

This is CLOSED.
