Comments: Apparently, Aliath approached Kalimero in PM and tried to initiate an alliance. The only reason I know this is because the two of them got into some argument in the game and Kalimero posted the contents of a PM.

Here is an excerpt of their conversation in the game, where Kalimer quotes Alliath. The bold sections are where Kalimero is quoting.

2010-01-29 16:04:55 - Kalimero: From: Aliath To: Kalimero : All warfare is based on deception, buddy. I do not agree at all with the 'secret diplomacy' rule, so there's no reason not to break it. It's impossible for them to find out, anyhow.
2010-01-29 16:05:03 - Kalimero: How about we turn our NAP into a full-out alliance? That means we only attack each-other after everyone else is dead.

Note, I don't know if Kalimero is guilty too, but Aliath, without a doubt, is.

Awesome. "war is about deception" "I dont' agree, so why not break the rule, they can't find out anyway" Priceless.

I have to admit I laughed for about 20 minutes after posting this. Oh, the irony!

Looks open and shut to me but will still look into it.

You could have just announced you wanted an alliance instead of trying to be sneaky
