Conquer Club

Take a look at game 16267. Three players, two new accounts (still ranked "?"), and me. Round one, the other two combine to conquer 13 countries - all mine. Neither of them attacked each other even once.

I logged in for round two, and see I have three countries surrounded by 1's. Apparently, they combined to only attack me, but ran out of gas with me still ahving three countries (it's a one fortification game).

It's people like that giving new players a bad name. I like to be welcoming to new players, but I'm very tempted not to play any games with "?"s any more.

Maybe we need an ebay-style reputation system.

I feel your pain. Yeah, it's got the point that anytime I see a question mark in a game, I take a close look at everyone else to see if there's any suspicious characters. I'd be very concerned if I were in a game with three such anonymous newbies.

This is why xiGAMES was started in the first place. I know that everyone here is completely bored with my endless promotion of this great group of people, but in case there's still a few people out there who haven't heard the Gospel of Scarus;

xiGAMES is comprised of independent players who are all screened for integrity and good reputations. We have over 35 members who play at this site now, including more than 15 premium members. Once you are admitted to the group you will be given a list with all the passwords to the games hosted by these great people. There are always xiGAMES private games waiting to be filled. I could go on, but let it suffice to say that playing everyday with people you know and trust makes a world of difference.

edit: I just read this and noticed how silly it looks right over the top of my signature.....lol Well, maybe you can't trust us, but at least you'll know who you're playing....lol

i agree w/ you both =-= but i if we premium players did not start regular games the real newbie non premium players could not play and i so enjoy winning a game when i know there are duplicat accounts oh hell i even enjoy losing as long as it was a good game. it would help you playing them if you played only seq games keeps most of the riff raff (aging myself here) off of your game feel free to join any of my games i am also a member of xiGAMES so please please don't ask me to allie if at all possible i try to take out the person who asked 1st

Couldn't agree more. I feel the same way when someone asks me to ally. I understand it's a part of the game, and allowable if done in full view of the other players, but I'm not for it at all. I never accept requests, and tend to go after those people first as well.

And, who the heck even TRIES to form alliances in a 3-player game!? Can't tell you how many times I've had offers, or seen the other player get an offer. I mean, come on. I can ALMOST understand with 6 players, but not with 3 or 4 especially.
