This complaint against cloet does appear to "fit' with recent decisions.

This entire forum is completely rediculous now, id rather have multis run wild than see this rediculous shit popping up everyday trying to make good people look bad. Would it be possible to juse close the entire forum, and just do the whole C & A thing via e-tickets or something of the sort? I dont care if people get shown as busted, but there is absolutely no reason half of the people reported here have to waste their time defending themselves...

Cause from what I see I can honestly say that yes it appears jp rates very kindly to people, but throughout his 18 page history you can definitely see that its not all 1's or all 5's, quite contrary there are many ratings in there that go through the whole scale and include tags with them to leave me to believe that jp puts time in the ratings he leaves and is a gracious rater. Meaning he will be a good sport about it and leave you a better rating then you deserve in most cases.

And as stated in the thread you sited we don't necessarily turn a blind eye to those people that rate more generously as it has become a common practice but we do acknowledge the way it is widely done. He is not rating from one extreme to the next he is rating people generously and when he encounters someone not worth that generosity he rates them on a scale according to what he has seen.

Seeing as I know you will complain favoritism towards a mod or clan if I give the go ahead to Clear this then i will send for more opinions. But in my opinion your complaining to complain here cause you got a rating that you didn't like, and I bet you didn't even PM jp and ask for an explanation before you made this accusation. (Also is included in that other thread)

When someone generously rated only 5 stars it was an abuse. Hahahahaha.

Well it is interesting when Leningrad was warned for rating only 5 stars and only Fair play because he obviously felt all he rated played 5 star fairly and it was called an abuse.

This on the other hand is referred to as rating generously.

colton's complaint is in no way spurious or unfounded.

Maybe we need a more "defined" rating system or guidance.

Great, Colton again comes into C&A only to accuse someone of doing something that 98% of the people that leave ratings do. I thought he figured out that he wasn't capable of finding actual cheaters when he stopped posting here, but apparently not.

Maybe after another 50 cleared threads where every post is someone else coming in to laugh at how dumb the accusation is...

i would like to see this as a warning for being "spurious"

i just got back from being away and thought i would poke my head in the forum to see what has been going on and saw the case, read the complaint, looked at the pages of ratings left and thought it deserved my opinion.

Yours will get handled shortly, i plan on being online later tonight and knocking out some cases.

But Leningrad got warned for having all of his ratings only being 5 stars and in that case as well as the case that colton sited in his first reference it has been said that we normally don't punish someone who generously rates, or rates higher then what they technically should because it is such a common practice, and the harm in rating this way isn't a gross abuse unless that's all you leave. If that's all you leave then there is no way an accurate assessment can be left for one person vice another. Also from that case that is sited that I just mentioned the user got his Warning or punishment because he rated only 1 stars or 5 stars. No in between and his tags were skewed, leaving deadbeat tags for guys that never deadbeated in a game with him. There has to be a common ground, it is gross abuse to rate haphazardly or out of spite, it is gross abuse to rate nothing but 5 stars or 1 stars for everyone, it is gross abuse to commonly leave inappropriate tags. He never stated a plan for getting Colton, only that he would prove other than the accusations posted that Colton himself may responsible for conduct on the site that could also be worth noting. Ive known JP for so long now, and he has shown nothing but class to everyone, even the biggest assholes on the site he keeps a clear head with. I usually wouldnt bother posting to defend someone in this forum, as it just seems to consistently clog with unreasonable shit by people who have nothing better to do than drag others down, but there comes a point where enough is enough. As KS reported, looking through JP's ratings shows that he has numerous ratings where it spread throughout with 2, 3, and 4 star ratings and leaves tags to explain the majority of them. Hell, i think im more guilty of ratings abuse than JP, and I dont even bother leaving them anymore...

It will only prove some previously known facts and a private complaint which the public is not aware of. I don't need to get Colton, however, I think it is time to make the public aware of all the facts (which I am allowed to talk about) which will prove that this claim is actually vindictive in nature. Just providing more context.

i just looked at all of jpcloets ratings that he ever gave, and he is on target with every rating. he leaves all different ratings. if colton doesnt catch a "spurious" rating on this, i will be very surprised!

This isn't vinidictive. I never said he deserves to be warned or banned, etc.
