Severe PM Abuse

Other: I recently started a game with the accused and he started verbally abusing me because I could play the game in RT. I told him that I was a little busy and couldn't play the game RT and he claimed that I was using cheap tactics. I am fairly new to this site and have only played 20 or so games and feel that people like this will make me want to stop playing here. I am not sure if this is a continuing problem with this individual, but think that something should be done. Calling me ignorant and telling me that he was going to teach me a lesson is uncalled for. I don't care what his rating is or how good he thinks he is but I do not condone his actions.

I admit his abuse caused me to lose my temper a bit and lash back at him, and I apologize for that.

I have placed him on my foe list, but feel that others may have been abused the same way I have. Just because I couldn't play a constant RT game is no reason for his actions. That is why there are timers right?

Thanks for your help and I look forward to continuing my play here. I plan on purchasing a premium membership soon, but if things like this continue, I will not be doing so.

ok... youve only played 20 games, so you get some leniency here, but in that game, you really get abusive with him far sooner than he does with you. You have every right to argue your right not to real time the game, but not every right to start calling him a biatch and then complaining that he is abusive. While rude, he is only asking why you didnt play RT games, and you have every right to defend not playing RT, however, if you start calling him names, its expected he may return the favor.

By all means stand your ground, and maybe even get personal if you want, but dont complain when its reciprocated it, even if any initial disagreement was started by the other guy.

well, hes new... 20 games total...so Im assuming he meant chat abuse, or thought that pm abuse meant chat abuse. I agree though, while you hardly get a polite medal, Its safe to say you were actually less offensive than him in the game. Neither one really crossed any borderlines as far as CC goes. As far as society goes...well... that depends upon the society I guess.

HighC... maybe you should read the chat again yourself. He gets no medal for being polite, but youre the abusive one here....and, are pretty brave making this accusation.

I agree that I was abusive...I apologize for that...but when someone who has played as many games as him accuses me of shady tactics because I can't play the game the way he wants..that is sad. This guy needs to grow up and get a life. I told him from the start that RT was not a possibility...I have other things to do that are a little more important that playing this game. I only called him a bitch because he was acting like one.

If this thread is posted incorrectly or if I misunderstood, I am sorry..please remove it then...as long as I don't ever have to play this asshole again..I am fine with it.

yeah, just hit foe...and....the next time someone complains about the dice, or RT or something...

dont call them a biatch, a douchebag, a tosser, a child, a jackass, or pathetic. It may resolve the disagreement quicker. It may even save you from your own abuse complaint.

Though I honestly suspect you are a multi account and just came here to mess with a few people at this point, so personally, I doubt youll have to play anyone after a while.

You guys can sort it out between yourselves....There is no game chat abuse and I think the both of you would benefit with a nice time out in the corner (figuratively speaking)
