its not a multi.

if it was a multi how could this happen:

2007-01-03 14:34:17 - Calidus deployed 12 armies on Mt. Doom
2007-01-03 14:34:29 - Buddy Jesus attacked Ithilien from Mt. Doom and conquered it from Jim_ReaPer

their moves are 12 seconds apart. usually, with multis the moves are about a minute apart due to the changing accounts.

their moves overlap a lot, and they dont seem to be favoring eachother.

And why do you even care??? they were on your team and you won!

I say NOT MULTI

2007-01-03 20:58:49 - Calidus attacked Tharbad from Minhiriath and conquered it from KoE_fjanet
2007-01-03 20:58:52 - Buddy Jesus deployed 2 armies on South Gondor

that is really to little time to change

Two machines, connected to the same monitor, logged in simultaneously?

Double-tap scroll lock, switch machines...

its nearly impossible to have two cpu's and be able to make 2 moves 3 seconds apart.
you have to account for the delay between switching computers, and the delay between the computers and the CC server. You just cant go that fast.

its not that hard ppl, open 2 tabs, sign in under 1 name on the first tab then go to the second tab and sign in under the second 1.

Exactly...Look at the way he fortifies himself then uses the army then goes to the other account and uses the fortified armies to attack then moves them back to cover each other. Defo A Multi and why do I care. Well I hate cheats...

For now, I'm going to BLOCK Buddy Jesus , calidus from playing together, and we'll see where to go from there.

yeah, i thought this was gonna happen eventually. Me and him aren't multi's, but i can see why most of you think that. We take each others turns a lot since we know each others passwords. We are different people, and hes a good friend of mine. I'm nearly positive that its alright to take turns for someone as long as they aren't your opponent in a game, I even asked a moderator a while back. If you dont want us doing it anymore, then we can stop. As for turns that are simultaneous, we try to take our turns like that. We see its our turn, call/IM the other guy and then go with that and talk about what we're doing while we're taking the turn (hence the fort then attack moves). It's suspicious because not many people play set teams where they know the other guy. No one else communicates as well as we do in the game. Most teams you cant call the other guy up and tell him to fort you in one place so you can attack another.

EDIT:
Vader09: You can open two tabs and play on both? I though because of cookies the game would keep you logged in both tabs?

And Jim, why didn't you bring it up in the game chat? You could've asked us about it or something, I dunno... I guess I would have appreciated that you at least warned us you were gonna accuse us of being multi's, I think it would have helped the entire process go faster... I only just realized that we he was (well, it was me on his account joining the game) blocked from a game that I made.

EDIT:
One last thing- 3 seconds isn't enough time to change computers, and you cant do 2 tabs-- i just tried it. I logged into his account on a second tab, but it kicked me off my account in this one.

Yeah sorry for the novel, Im just trying to say everything that needs to be said.

Yah, I dont read these forums much so I didn't see this until we realized we were blocked. Buddy Jesus pretty much summed it up, we know each others password. We had asked an admin if it was ok to take each others turn if they were away. However, the arguement that our fortifying each other proves we're a multi is a bad one. I'd call that smart, we take our turns at the same time. Only at the same time.

Jim, it sounds like we can't convince you, and I'm sorry to hear that. But honestly, there has to be ways to check if this we're telling the truth. If you want, tell us we can't use each others accounts, but don't block two friends from playing a game of risk with each other.

Btw, if I could see the game logs im sure i could find us doing a move within one second or at the same time. That would pretty much eliminate the multiple browsers/ no cookies argument.

yeah i saw that, but wasnt he just copying/pasting something? Theres a difference between copying and pasting and using the scroll bars, finding the attacking country then finding the country your going to attack then pressing the attack button then doing it again on the other account.

I realize that I can't prove this, but I don't know much about computers. I guess that all of this is more guessing than anything. It can't be proven that we aren't multis or that we are, and we would appreciate being given the benefit of the doubt.

Sorry, didn't know about the she. I don't post around here much. I guess your right, you could do that but I don't see someone keeping up such a fast pace, I dunno though, your probably right. But yeah, like robert said I dont think we can really prove this. Any chance you can do an IP check?

I DOn't understand what the lproblem is if they are playing doubles... on a team together???

i can see if it was singles and having a secret alliance, but playing doubles... I DON"T get it...

So, you think it's ok to make multiple accounts as long as they only play doubles together?

Do you think there's any real chance of us being unblocked? If not, I'd just like to be told so. I'd like to not have to worry about this.
