I figured this would happen and it did, so here I am.

DomQuebec thought I was too good to be a noob so he accused me of being a multi. I was cleared of that...we've been through all this already. Mustapha Mond is my dad and gave me some coaching, but I've played tons of wargames and other Risk clones.

Dom gave me all ones in the rating and used the tags Coward, Secret Diplomacy, Cheap Tactics, Poor Strategy

Coward - WTF? How is anything I did being a coward? I went on the offensive and kicked his ass.

Secret Diplomacy - WTF? How can you have secret diplomacy in a 2-player game?

Cheap Tactics - Where? How? I beat him, fair and square.

Poor Strategy - WTF? It worked. It was obviously better than his strategy.

It was one thing to put up with the false accusation...another totally to have to suffer the results of it permanently on my record when it was proved false.

The false rating he left you does not constitute "severe ratings abuse".

The fact that he rates most of the people he plays the same way does though.

About as severe as abuse as it could possibly be.

haha just joking around about this but, CC should put a thing on his account that whenever he tries to submit a report or ratings that says

"Sorry you cannot press that button at this time so *EPIC FAILURE*"

I was gonna tell Guilty the same thing, and that unfortunately this is a consequence of playing people like Dom, and that it's kinda tough titties...

And then I hit JefJef's link and saw Dom's ratings and exclaimed "Holy Shit Batman!"

I noticed this, most of the people he give good ratings to are names you would assume are women.

Dom has been allowed to terrorize this site forever with no consequences, he's a practical institution, something that people warn NOOBZ about like the boogyman.

But now he has had a series of Damning C&A reports in a row, which he has gotten warned for, and this one might push him into the "next escalating step" of punishment.

Oh Nooz! He might be subjected to the same type of over the top punishment others have gotten for prior strings of relatively small (yet still punishable and rightly so) infractions. This case is so effin open and shut (have you SEEN a worse case of ratings abuse?) but it presents a problem...is he gonna get warned 3-4 times in a row?

I wish I could have gotten warned at least twice...

Dom has received his 1st and last Warning for Ratings Abuse.

P.S. There is a structure in place that uses the escalation of violations that lead up to punishments that are more then just Warnings. His name may be coming up more often then not now and he may have terrorized even more so in the past but at this time with all of that he still has not reached the point where his account will get a vacation. Meaning getting a Warning for Spurious C&A Report & getting one for Ratings Abuse doesn't equal a website vacation. But the continuation of these violations will soon lead you down that road. He has been handed the appropriate disciplinary action as per the community guidelines.

he might want to keep a little note book of all his different warnings.. must be hard to remember what u have been warned for when u get so many different ones

As per the community guidelines? Lets look at the rules!

There are essentially Two Levels of Infraction in Conquer Club: Minor and Major/Severe.

* Minor Infractions are those that are more annoying than hurtful with intent. This includes but is not limited to: Spamming, Off Topicing, Common Flaming, Common Trolling, Necro-bumping, Avatar Abuse, Chat/Forum Newbie Abuse, International Forum Abuse, Repeatedly Posting for Vacationed Users, "Report a Post" Abuse, "Cheating and Abuse Report" Abuse, Unwanted Solicitation of a user via PM/Walls/Gamechat), etc.
o Minor Infractions follow the traditional vacation escalation scale of: Warning, 24 Hour Vacation, 72 Hour Vacation, One Week Vacation, One Month Vacation, 6 Month Vacation*, with repeated 6 Month Vacations as necessary upon a Minor Infraction upon release from the max vacation.
Say a Minor Infraction of Spamming leads to a user's first Minor Warning. If they are found in violation with any Minor Infraction, be it Necro-bumping, Avatar Abuse, "Cheating and Abuse Report" Abuse, etc, the next level will be up the scale, even if the first Warning was not associated with the second infraction.

So he got one for spurious, and one for deadbeating...and I don't know where you put rating abuse, but it DOESN"T MATTER since either place would kick him up to some kind of vacation. As per the community guidelines..

We both know he is going to get away with warnings, and probably continue with his wicked ways. I just want to make these warning shenanigans transparent...

I and the rest of the staff are well aware of what he has been Warned for but it is not my place to air it out.

I gave the spurious report/Rating example cause those have just happened as you have seen and those are 2 totally different entities in the escalation process.

From the ones you mentioned the punishments differ.

Spurious C&A Report (Minor Infraction)
1st offense - Warning
2nd offense - 24 hour forum vacation as the offense deals with the forums
3rd offense - further escalation of vacations until forum use is suspended

Deadbeating (Minor Infraction)
1st offense - Warning
2nd offense - 1 month vacation from the site seeing as the offense deals with the gaming portion
3rd offense - further escalation of vacations until game use is suspended

Rating Abuse (Different entity in itself)
1st offense - Warning
2nd offense - 1 month vacation from the rating system seeing as the offense deal with the ratings portion

While both the Spurious Report & Deadbeating are Minor offenses they take part on 2 separate parts of the site and are dealt with accordingly.

Once again he has received the correct punishment for the violation at hand.

not yet, but you do get a pristine reputation that gets to follow you around
