343 Guilty Spark [Cleared]

PostPosted: Sun Dec 27, 2009 11:53 pm

Accused:

343 Guilty Spark

The accused is suspected of:

Being Multi

Game number(s):

Game 6179230

Comments: I don't think the guy is playing the map for the first time, he has probably another account. A new player can't play quickly and accurate as he does, this map is too complicated. Sure, he has fucking good dice, but he mades the good moves too.

whoa huh?

not a multi - my dad is mustapha mond - i just started playing - had to ask him what a multi was

he and i play a lot of risk together and he gave me strategy tips on this game

we don't play any games together so there's no problem about that

i'm thinking you're just a sore loser

I hope moderators will be enough smart to catch what happened. Look at the game chat, the guy played too quickly to be coached by anybody.

Now he's squeezed, so he's bullshiting us and invent crap like «dad and son who are players with different accounts and giving advices»...

Now mods, you have the name of the second multi to ban. He made the rest of the job for me.

You didn't find a good opponent to cheat like that. I'm not dumb, that's possible for a newbie to win against me with some good dice or by reading carefully the map and thinking about the best strategies, but not quickly like that. You played your moves too quickly, so I caught.

Then, you admited mustapha mond and you are the same person.

My son's a smart kid, and yes, I coached him -- not move by move, but he's a computer whiz. He's 15 and starting community college next semester.

Dude -- you are so off base. I've got a premium account, played like 5,000+ games here. Why on earth would I set up a multi? I haven't even played any games with him. I came forward because I've got nothing to hide.

You said, " A new player can't play quickly and accurate as he does...

So if I make a turn in just a couple of seconds, will that make me a candidate of getting reported as a multi account? Is there a certain limit of how much turn speed a new player is suppose to make?

Is a multi hunter going to take a look at this and clear it up? I hate having this sitting out here unresolved.

btw i don't think it uncommon for family member to help out. i mean if my sister every wanted to play cc i would buy her premium, help her learn clickies, and answer any questions she has.

The REAL shame here is that Mond didn't instruct his son to do the VERY first thing that should be completed on CC before playing your first game:

FOE DomQuebec

Maybe it should be a checkbox under "no multis"

common its a legit report.. i have seen much weaker claims of cheating on here then this..

deadbeating the game because he is a freemium is pretty low though... probably looking for a easy win hoping he will get busted instead of playing the game out.. still it should be respected that until a mod has made a decision that the player is to be treated like a normal player and not a multi.. low tactics there

No. From a PM from him (tried to reason with him -- talk about an exercise in futility): "Keep your points and face the mods."

And as I told Dom, my son plays a ton of wargames, both board games and online. Lux Delux...hello? I can tell him the basic strategy for each map in like 30 seconds. From there, if you've played other games like this, the actual mechanics of CC are no big deal.

VampireM wrote:i have seen much weaker claims of cheating on here then this..

"You play too well to be new" basically. In a 1v1. That's pretty lame.

What I can't figure out is why on earth I would even set up a multi. I have a premium account. It's not a rank issue -- I just went from corporal to captain in a matter of a couple of weeks just by choosing my games more carefully and playing a little less recklessly -- beating a question mark a game or two would hardly be worth the trouble. Plus, I didn't play him in any games -- told him I'd do team games with him once he got ranked. And after over 5,000 games completed here, why on earth would I risk it? I've got a solid reputation here -- on the old rating system, in fact, I had I think the 2nd-highest number of positive ratings. I'd have to be completely irrational/stupid to set up a multi.

No doubt. What can I do? Is that abuse? Or does my son just give him all 1 stars and that's it? What do you do about someone like DomQuebec, who's pretty much a prick to everyone, but just never quite crosses the letter of the law. CC would be a much better place without him. I mean, come on... the guy wears his bad reputation like a freakin' badge of honor. Have you looked at his profile? "Location:On your ignore list."

Sorry if I'm a bit riled up about this. I get testy when my own honor gets challenged, but when you start attacking my son, that's just over the line, and I'll do whatever I can to protect him. Plus now I have to convince him that CC is worth sticking around for and that DQ is the rare exception, not the rule.

Dude really this is crap. Can a family member who has been on this site for this long teach his son without being accused of multi. I mean sure some mulites come up with that excuse,b ut MOST really are family. This is just a sore loser complaint on your part

That's funny to realize some obvious cases were cleared even if the complaint was fill in after this one. If this case is still on inquiry, that's because that's a dubious case.

That's not a popularity contest, even if some people find cute a son/dad story, moderators don't seem to find this case very clean.

I hope the same verdict than the nickname of the accused.

Or.....it's the damn holidays and the mods have more pressing matters than a spurious report.

True, it's not voting for the prom king, but i don't believe you have the inside track on the moderator's opinion on this. But nice attempt at the name pun.

Anyway, I don't have to write well in English, that's not my first language.

No, you just live in a country where English is the first language, next to another country where English is the first language (and just happens to be the largest market in the world), as well as being in a commonwealth where English is the first language as well as, finally, living in a world where English is the language of business, science and internet cyber-sexing.

But you keep speaking pigeon-french mate. That'll get you far.

Oh, and another 'I lost to a noob he must be a cheat!!!' thread. Always my favourite kind.

Chang for moderator. He could be like Obama being the first black president, except he'd be unique for being the first racist moderator.

Is it racist to make fun of people from Quebec...a people so 'french loving' that even the bloody French hate them?

It is not racist, or even prejuduced or for that matter xenophobic... but merely a statement of fact.

However, my Changsha for Moderator 2010 campaign may get off to a rocky start if I get banned for going vindictively off-topic again, so on that note...
