joe the pro for game abuse [Warned]

Alright. This is my first C&A post. That should get me a prize, or a tombstone pizza or something. I've played this guy twice before. And, all told, including this game I've given up close to 100 points to him out of three games. No big deal. I hate when that happens, but it is the deal I signed up for and so it shall be. In the previous two games, I personally have had no issue with this 3.8 rated bro, sis, trans gender person. Nobody on my foe list, I play all folk. Silly me. This person has a record of "cheap tactics" irrationality, and bull. Jeez, so do I on a Monday once in a while. But as very fair player, I want this bloke: flogged, keel-hauled, and booted. Please see below if you will:

Accused: joe the pro

The accused are suspected of:

Bull Crap game play by holding a losing player hostage in a SPEED game.

I know it sounds like whining but this is not the first time I have seen him do this. Nonetheless, I only have energy to list the game I am in with him.

Game number: Game 6071396

Comments: He could have won this game... so many turns ago. He's been drawing 25+ armies per turn for what seems like hours or WEEKS now... and he dinks around. And he misses turns and comes back... and he hits some neutrals. I can't think of one single reason he has chosen to do this... other than the fact that he wants to t-bag a losing opponent. So be it. Now I've t-bagged him back.

Sorry if this seems like a waste of the MOD's time but this pissed me off.

Foed and blah, blah, blah... boot this boy!

And why am I not teamed with YOU in the lurv fest!!! :D

Cheers. :)

Wow, lame tactic. I suppose one could just deadbeat when he does this, but I suppose that would stick in the craw of a nice guy like Elf.

For the lawyers:

Unwritten Rules
Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.

Open and shut case. This asshole should be DINGED.

It's not a violation of the rules, and I can't see any good reason why you didn't deadbeat out. It sucks I grant you but there you go, notice the comment in the bottom of the chat, I'm sure he'll have some kind of explanation. I've played, JtP once or twice and I found him to be prompt (if noobish) at least.
Foe and move on.

Not a "foe and move on" case.

I get it. I got it then finchboy. I'm also a big boy who can get over things pretty quickly. But it is against the rules. And it's poor sportsmanship in the extreme. There is only one explanation for taking ALL the neutrals on the board and ALL the bonuses in a speed game in which you are up 30 troops to 5. Only one and you know it: IYFMF... "in your face mother forker."

Yeah, I'm going to have to review my personal policy on that one I think.

Cheers.

Lad shouldn't HAVE to make the decision to deadbeat. Period.

RTFM Finchboy, and maybe the thread as well before you pipe up with bogus info. Or do you think holding hostage is coolz?

I agree 100%. This is blatantly against the rules no matter game type. Joe the pro has broken the rules and should be punished accordingly. My thought is that he should have to play a game of chess on lifesize pieces in the dungeons of Hogwarts. We'll see who the hostage is then!

Alas. Alack. Perchance it was not meant to be my CC compatriots. No public flogging with an overcooked noodle. It would have been a hoot. A blast. A celebration of vindication and honor and corporal punishment. But it was not meant to be.

The Elf will just have to stop being such a prude and learn to walk away and/or fire a counter-attack of juvenile sexy put downs and-and/or-or start wearing those Christmas ties that his wife bought him with the Santa with the nose that lights up. This must suffice.

In the end I am left with:

What? How so? It is definitely against the rules and game abuse. You are right to post this here.
