Comments:I have played this guy 4 times all wins by me and he left me all 1's and the tag line of clueless.I looked up the rating he has left other people and he does this to them as well..giving all 1's to good players
If he does not know how to rate people correctly then he should not allowed to rate anyone

I sent him a PM...His response was "meh" dont know what that means.

A player named JaMarcus did this all time as well until the mods stopped him from doing it...

but brann is cool so it doesnt matter...

press the almighty 'FOE' button and move along... who cares about ratings anyway... they are way higher than what the system denotes they should be at...Brann is just doing a good job by levelling them out a bit, if anything he deserves a medal for making things more fair

Of course it's an abuse. I didn't say I agreed with the original finding.

the lame thing about this were that I actually got a warning. Such bs 0.o

well its not actually a rule about rating so we cant ban you but if we give you a warning and you do it again then we can ban you

Bravo but 2 things still stand is it a law that i have to throw a period in there every time i type and i do put capitals in there when i feel like it

It's not a law, but failing to do so makes you look like an illiterate idiot. Don't whine if you get abuse for typing like a fool, if you type like a fool.

how about we just drop this and focus at the matter at hand

I've played against this guy in two trip games and split with him. He gave me ones across the board in the game he lost. I don't really care how he rates my game play as it will not impact my rating by over 1900 other CC players. However, I strongly object to receiving a one rating for 'fair play'!!...No one in over 7000 games has accused me of unfair play!!..I sent this player a PM asking why he gave ones across the board as well as a tag of 'clueless' and he could only say that the only reson we won was because the CC dice were in our favor!...I told him he won over half his games because of the same reasoning!!..This player is very imature and abuses the rating system for what it was intended for!!

sorry was letting this go for a lil bit for my own enjoyment. but back to the matter at hand Brann2006 was reported and cleared back at the end of October jefjef, and it was Noted on his account.

Need I say we don't like to step in unless gross abuse is going on in ratings and game chat.
So it was Noted at that time.

1 month later he continued down the path he was going when he first got reported and a member from the community reported him for it in this claim.

And this time He got Warned. And seeing as the Warning was for ratings, just to clear it up for "those mods to be" his next infraction of ratings abuse if he should have one would result in the temporary unavailability to use the ratings system. A ban of sort, but not he ban that was being implied in here.

Also yes it is true that someone got a Warning for reporting someone for a claim that was already cleared, but that wasn't the whole story. The claim that was filed where the originator got Warned was spurious in nature and including flaming in it.

Its pretty simple, we ask that if you wish to file a claim to be looked at to please do it in the best possible way that you can which includes using the form provided to you to the best of your ability, providing evidence, and not flaming or doing the claim in retaliation. Or be a frequent C&A filer for petty stuff just because you lost.

Anyways he has been Warned. Case Closed
