I'm just wondering, is it okay to say those kind of things on conquerclub, a wonderful playing site for both young and adults? If not, I think avarageguy should be banned from this site...

This player has a history of this kind of stuff. I went to look but could not see his chat. That is the beauty part of FOE.

But as long as something isn't bigoted or racist or just endless it won't be warned or stopped.

Well I'm not sure what else you can do, as he will not be punished in any way. I guess you could try to beat him up over the internet. Let me know how that works out for you.

Kugelfang has a point. At the very least averageguy needs to be warned about such abuse. CC takes a liberal stance on game chat, yada yada, but this player bends the liberal line. Close to snapping it. Whether or not Kugel's mom failed to finish a task, Averageguy should not tell Kugel this. Finally, averageguy needs to be aware that such comments are public.

There are rules about conduct in game-chat unless you are either the Conqueror or a former Conqueror. They have no rules.

My question is: How liberal can CC be? When is it enough? Assaulting someone mother, is that against the rules or not? If not, cc can't complain if the assaults on for example family members continues, it's gonna be a part of the game, and it will always be, just because cc moderators didn't draw the line from the beginning.. I think, as I said, avarageguy should be banned, to show once and for that this such thing in game chat isn't accepted!

Game chat is a more private forum of communication and during game you will have and should expect some smack talk. As long as it isn't bigoted racist crap there really isn't a problem with telling an adversary to lick your nut sack and stuff like that. IMO

Game chat is just as public as forum posts. Every player has the ability to see game chat, there are some like me who go see active games from current opponents to scout them out.

Telling people to lick your nut sack anywhere be it this forum or some game chat is/should be unacceptable to a reasonable person.

Personally I draw the line there.

Things like "Oh you sneaky bastard! Didnt see that coming!" are fine
Things like "Lick my nut sack and french kiss my dads butt!" are somewhat.... questionable to a 'reasonable person'

hahaha.. OK. The only time you see game chat is if your INVOLVED in the game OR your TROLLING someone else's game.

I do not support attacks against ones mother and you wont see much of my chat that straddles anything like that nor have i ever told anyone to lick my sack But it is to be expected from some of the colorful players. If it isn't bigoted or racist it is not much disciplined. If you don't like a player FOE and be done with it.

This guy has a long running history of doing things like this. I played him before it is was sorta the same chat. I just moved on from it. Though I do think it would be be in the best interest of CC to take some action.

I agree, this sort of comment is completely out of order. Implying that one's mother is unnecessarily slow constitutes a grave insult, and demands swift justice.

i dont troll other peoples games i just look at what they are doing on the map and i scroll down a little to see the game chat. i never comment in a game im not involved in.

Foe-ing a player is all well and good for me. but what about all the other people that will meet this guy?

CC should care, no matter how much money the owner has... If they do not care, they might risk loosing some premium buyers, including me..
