He is inviting lower ranks from the looks of it, so he can beat up on them and not get anybody worth a damn in his games. He farmed with the double turn on Oasis before they fixed that so I am sure he is looking for new ways to get cheap points.

Agree with Big Whiskey...how's this cheating...sounds to me like you guys are a bunch of sore losers. Is King Herpes a cheater for playing 1 v1 city mogul against lower ranking players...I don't think so.

Also, I don't invite anyone that ranks lower than a sergeant FC...if lower ranking players want to join, no problem. Did I have a problem with Jamiejames joining, considering he's a colonel? No, because I know I can beat him 9 times out of 10. Also, I don't invite freemiums either because they are more apt to miss a turn.

ok, well people can just decline the invite, and by inviting only 1person a team people get to choose their partners. Is it just the games posted above, or has there been a lot more. Will be very interesting to see the result of this complaint.

Also agree with Bogan...Most players do decline the invite and I leave the second spot open so they can invite a partner they are comfortable playing with...not a total stranger.

Even if he didn't invite a person for each team, low ranks would still join, so this strategy isn't necessarily one with the sole purpose of getting low ranks in the game. As he's stated he doesn't invite anyone below SGT 1st class, so if low ranks join the games it's not his fault.

Inviting one for each team does make sense because as Bogan said that it leaves that person with the option of inviting whoever they want.


We'll just have to wait and see from more games of his whether or not he's lying about inviting people only above the rank of SGT 1st class. If he's inviting very low ranks, then this could be considered farming. If not, it's legitimate. The rank that Emmdizzle says he's invites seems good enough.


At the very worst, this should be pending. Anything harsher wouldn't make much sense with such little evidence. The mods should question him privately if he's ever invited anyone below that rank, and decide for themselves after that.

im not sure any of you can see, its not to invite low ranks... its the taking away chance for a team to join into the game... hence giving emdizzle a better chance of winning, you put someone like laddida and one of her teamates in there and emdizzle's chances of winning rapidly decrease.. he just wants to get easy points... its almost discreet farming, just very cleverly disguised

This is exactly what I was talking about and what Gustaf Wasa and Co. did, to "fill some games faster" This is gross abuse of the invite system and should not be allowed.

there is precedent in this case, i reported some people for doing this a few months back and nothing ever came of it. i can only assume this is viewed as perfectly legitimate. either way emmD is in the clear

this is getting discussed now with the mods. please be patient, obviously if people can find a way to abuse a system they will, we are conversating about it now.

i saw this a couple weeks ago, but decided it's a waste of time to report people for things...

he does it on every game he plays...

however, no rule against what he's doing...

if you're gonna say something to him then you have to say something to all the johnnyrocket24s who also target low ranked players...

What do you mean by low ranked players? I said I only invite segeant FC and above and that constitutes the upper 26.5 % of players on this website so all of your so called "low ranking players" arguments don't pass muster. If you mean low ranking compared to me? There's only 18 or 19 higher ranking players. All you whiney bitches are just that...bitches. I see players in the top 20 play against players lower than sergeant FC all the time. I can't believe the number of cry babies on this site...it's disgusting

i used game finder to find doubles games...

started joining some and inviting my partner...

noticed you had several games open and all of them had a reserve spot in one of the slots so that no "team" could join...

nice rank general you'll be conquerer in no time

and actually i dont think they should do anything to you...

they dont do anything to any of the other chumps that do nothing but join thousands upon thousands of games with privates and cooks to ensure an easy wins, why would they do something to you?

Interesting case...

1. Having glanced at the last 10 or so of these the actual ranks that join seem fine; there are some SFC's, some lieutenants, some captains...the odd major. On that very simple level one has to ask how this can be farming?

2. With regards to the 'invite method': as Khazalid stated, a similar case was brought up a while ago and was cleared, so one has to assume that if the hunters are aiming for consistancy then this will also be cleared.

Finally, the method itself might be an issue if it is PROVED that a player always invited sub. 1,000 players as it could be reasonably assumed that those players would not know established players who they could team with. However, as farming is merely limited to playing NR's I can't see how this case could even fall into that trap. Therefore you are left with the 'making it impossible for estalished teams to join' line...which, of course, has already been cleared in a different case. Well then I suppose I could be accused of the same thing from my 8 man 2.1 dubs games. They are always private, I choose who I want to play and then send the invites in the exact same fashion. Couldn't I be accused of making it impossible for 'establised teams' to get into my games?

There is a large difference here.

1. Game invite abuse was noted, not cleared.
2. Ppeople used to be left alone when they point dumped. Spikeboat was the first to get banned and now everybody gets banned. They changed the rules and this could happen with this case. Not saying he should be banned, but a stop to this practice needs to happen. It is nothing more than setting up players to lose. He hand picks who he wants to join. He is not picking people who know the map, rather people who have never even seen it, much less played it. He has farmed in the past on this map with the double turn, until that was taken away, and now he is looking for new sources of income.
