Someone should put me up on ratings abuse...... I went through a stage where I rated people 3stars for attitude if they didn't say hi in 2player games....... Now I just can't be arsed rating most of the time, someone has to be really good or really bad for me to bother.

Quite fun that you leave a "Cheap Tactic" tag after that game. All macy does is to start his/her turn and destroy you in the same turn.

It's freestyle, it's not a cheap tactic to start your turn when you are able to.

Mmmm... but well, after 14 000+ games, let's give JR the benefit of doubt. I'm sure he knows what a cheap game is in his opinion...

I've had a proper look at this game and I can't see where "cheap tactics" can be involved.

If JOHNNYROCKET24 doesn't like the way people take their turns at the same time and deploy massive armies where you are about to attack, then I suggest he avoids freestyle games.

Also, how can you have "cheap tactics" in a 1v1 game? Were you deploying your armies where he couldn't see them (i.e. in the fog - lol). To me cheap tactics are things like when several players are deadbeating and one misses two turns in a row to give the impression that they are also deadbeating, then launch a surprise attack on a vital point and deploy a load of deferred armies there (this is just an example, there are other kinds of cheap tactics).

As for getting a poor rating, this reflects more on JOHNNYROCKET24's poor sportsmanship. I get it myself ("Sore Loser" and 1 stars for WINNING a game is one I received lately). Just foe the sorry ******* and move on. There are more sporting players than him on this site, trust me.

Macy has gotten lucky that nobody has done that to her yet....but it will happen!
Also, how is it "her games" when they appear to everyone? Buy premium and make them private so they can be "your games" otherwise they are open to everyone not on your foe list! I do not see how JR has abused ratings. I do think Macy might be close to rating abuse herself since opponents don't always do what suits her!

I do understand that point, but in several earlier threads there have been said this is not ok to rate someone a 1-1-1 rating for this. And no matter to whom it is done. It is like saying to a thief "no, we are not going to charge the guy stealing your TV, now you know how it feels". We cant have it like that.

And lets remember it is not only macy he has done this to and it seems like a respons when he loses and are left with some anger.

It was the five minute delay that did it. The game was moving along fairly quickly... at one turn macy waited 5 minutes, and got the jump on him, and thats what the rating was for.

Im not saying it was fully justified, at one point there was a 3 minute delay on JRs turn I think, but that was why the rating was left.

On this one JR, while you may be justified, you could just give him/her a break...theyve played under 200 games, so maybe youve made your point. 2's would have saved us all some time.

I have a shitload of ratings left for me that are BS. you see me complaining about them ? Just because I dont agree with them doesnt mean that the players that left them have their reasons. The biggest BS ones I get are from players that leave a 0 for attitude when I said absolutely nothing in game chat. I PM the player for an explanation and the response was I read a post you had and dint like it. The post had nothing to do with the game. Again, you see me complaining ? I left a rating for Macy with a tag that was permitted by the site admin. I do not need to leave a written statement why I left it. As you scroll through my 5K ratings I left you will obviously see nothing abused. I leave tags where I fell they were needed. In this case I felt one was needed. To say I left a bad rating because I lost a game is far from the truth. I lost 29% of my games. Did I leave bad ratings for those ?

Much as I hate to write this, because I enjoy johnny bashing just as much as the next man. Johnny has the right to rate how he sees fit, after the amount of games/ratings he has left, I'm sure he has worked out exactly how he likes to rate. Fair play to him. There is no pattern of high or low ratings, no valid complaint here. I just hope she complains again, because as a wise man noted earlier in thread, is an avatar that is worth looking at more than once a day.

Like i said earlier. You do rate alot and only a slim part of there are "nonsenseratings". But i am not sure if it is ok to rate someone low even if you rate 99 other people very high.

You said a 0 (i guess you ment a 1) for a silent attitud. How come "the best to you." the only spoken word in the game should be given a 1?

But as I said... You do rate alot and only perhaps 1% of them are bad ratings without reason (I think you are ok to give a 1-1-1 rating to deadbeats. So for 99% of the people you rate (me include, thank you) will be left happy. But the 1% with those bad, and not easy to know why if you look in the game, ratings will still suffer. If you play only a hundfull of games a low rating is bad.

I agree 100% with you. But more leaning on an abuse. Not sure why we have the rules if they arent enforced. And for those he has left a bad rating it can be good to read it was not ok to do so.

I think the rules are not tight/defined enough when it comes to ratings. Ratings abuse as cheating is like saying a chef working in a restaurant who tastes a dish before he sends it out is stealing. Screw this ratings bollocks catch and kill multis eh!
