The rules defined under "Obvious abuse of the game" are some obvious rules like your example. It is not a window to make up rules.
Obvious means obvious. Hundreds of good players use the tactic of the pressed down b key. So hundreds of players disagree with something that you think is obvious? Well obviously it is not obvious and so you have to write it.
Something that in my opinion you can not do...
Forbidding hold down the b key at my keyboard? you can to do that.
I have a notification which allows me to be on line in a critical moment at a freestyle game. Is that forbidden too?

LMAO!! Your saying its illegal to hold down the "B" button on MY computer, which starts MY turn? This site and the logic of some on this site is absolutely laughable. Firth, quit playing freestyle if you cant handle taking a turn using NO SCRIPTS but by simply pressing a computer key-unreal! I would be willing to bet MOST speed game freestyle players do this exact tactic to prevent a bonus from being attacked; this is why most start at the exact same second; impossible to use a mouse to start at the same second; so the thousands of players that do this are in violation of the rules???? LMAO - close this mods!
codeblue1018 wrote:40, what is the difference? The same outcome would occur. With that logic, clicky maps should be banned eh? You know, entering and playing games against others not using the script as they are either new and not aware or they just don't agree with them? To me, that is cheap and borderline cheating but it's not because that "script" is tolerated. Using an object to hold a key in order to start a turn at the same time as the other player is illegal how? What about when the other player ends first and delays the game to start when that player is either not on or preoccupied? What in the hell is the difference? I've lost to this dude twice from this exact tactic but I accepted it; I don't agree with it, but it's far from illegal; cheap yes, cheating no!

But the rule isn't "obvious abuse" it's any gross abuse.
Also, care to name these "hundreds of players"? Twin Killer is the first I have come across.
And speak English please, it's the language God wrote in the Bible.
Evil Semp wrote:This accusation is based on the fact that Aalmeida17 starts his turns so quickly. As was stated wouldn't putting a weight on start the turn at the exact same time? That happened twice and not two turns in a row. He had four turns in a row where his turns started 1,0,1 and 0 seconds after yours, there were also three turns where he started 6 seconds later. One turn he started his turn and didn't make any moves for about 30minutes. I know that some freestyle players do this as part of their stratagy.
It looks to me that he is very dedicated to playing his games. I don't see any proof that he is using a script.
Without any proof I have to say Aslmeida17 is CLEARED of any wrongdoing.

Having machines or programs make or start turns for you is not allowed. So be careful in making any scripts that would make turns for you. We like to maintain that only people will play in all games and not people who have their own (super) scripts to play the game for them.

You did not answer two very important questions.
1) Is it allowed to have clicable maps (a script) and press down the b key mechanically? (if it is not allowed that then it is not allowed to start your turn at the same second and there are already a huge amount of violations.
2) Are people allowed to now all the rules from the rules tub or they have to search the forum??
Is it gross abuse to have a script starting the turn automatically?

Would having clickable maps and placing a weight on the 'b' key be considered gross abuse of the game? TFO, you have said "any scripts that would start a turn for you is not encouraged and will not be allowed.". I think the problem with this statement, and mc05025's question, is that clickable maps doesn't start the turn for you, technically the weight starts the turn for you. But, since it isn't a script starting the turn, it is in fact a weight (which might very well be a human finger, still making it a human vs. human game), would this be legal?

I would like this to be clearly stated, I use this technique from time to time and have won maybe 5 games solely because of this tactic.

As for the game presented by firth4eva, I can see that he started his turns a few minutes after Twin Killler ends his turn from the previous rounds. Being that these were only a few minutes, it is highly possible that he managed to do all that manually and not a script was used in this game. If you started your turn on different time intervals, like maybe 30 minutes after or so, and he still managed to start his at the same time, then, we may have something here. This is cleared.
