Nah, seems legit to me..

and like in the emdizzle case there is no one holding a gun to your head to join (because we all check our invites very thoroughly before joining, dont we lads) and also sending out invites to 1 cook per team and leaving the other slot open is just so that cook can invite hwoever he wants and make sure that he has a teammate he can play well with.. oh wait,, you got the invite from klobber and not the cook right? hmm..

must have been a meere oversight.. maybe the cook asked for you as a teammate, maybe his bad score is due to him also being a cockney-lad and now he found out you speak the same language?

im sure klobber and everyone else using the method has just the best of the site in mind creating an big cozy open family..

I got a similar invite from this clown today.
he teamed me up with someone with zero experience.

I know he sent out similar invites to a lot of other people too.

I declined the invite and quickly foed him.

We shouldn't need to be bothered by him or waste our time adding him to our foe lists. he should be banned for being an outright cheat....

Pedro's right. I got an invite from him today and was to be paired with someone I didn't know and had a similar track record. This can't continue........

I've seen the "cleared" forum but disagree that new recruits should be protected more than premium-paying, long-term players.

I did too. Was paired with some cook I'd never heard of.

I didn't...then again he already foed me because I beat him

I wouldn't say this should be against the rules as much as Emmdizzle's method. While it's really stupid, he's inviting both people to the team, you can't really complain about that, he can just say he thought you might want to play together. Of course he would be wrong but there's not really a retort for that.

It's just one or two players, for now just famo. If more people start doing it, then there may need to be a better solution, but it's not really a huge problem foeing 1 or 2 people

I can't see how you are justifying his actions. The point is that while it may not explicitly break the current rules, the rules may need to be modified to incorporate the severe abuse that we're seeing.

I'm not defending his actions, just saying there's no way to make them against the rules. I'm just as disgusted by his methods as you are, but think about it, he's inviting two people per team to a dubs game. That cannot be interpreted as against the rules. Otherwise, he can say it's against the rules for you to invite two friends to the other team in a dubs game, and under your rules he would be right.

The only way to make this against the rules is to call it farming extremely low ranked players, clearly that's not gonna happen

i would agree with you jrh but these games were made 4 or 5 days ago and the secound invites were not sent out till yesterday when klobber read the first thread about this.

all that makes him is even more of a dick. He's walking as close to the line as he possibly can, but where did he cross? As I said, I'd love to see him busted, but since the mods refuse to make inviting one crappy person per team invite abuse by him or Emmdizzle, I don't see how this is any worse under the law.

Invited as well but as a heads up he's invited his own partner (a cook) and is now inviting just colonels so it looks like he's not a douche bag.

ALERT: HE IS A FUCKING DOUCHE BAG

Please don't edit this and remove it by saying it was a flame... if anything, I was just posting personal information about him.

As much farming and abusing of the system as KLOBBER does you would think he'd be good at this game. Score wise by now, he should be up there a lot farther than Major. The results of his farming aren't even very impressive...infer what you will.
Definitely abuse of the system.

Funny thing is that I've been on his ignore list for years, so he's not interested in a fair fight. But teaming me with a cook who I've never met, apparently that's his idea of fun. The cook, btw, has 19 games completed, 0 won, with 95% turns taken.

This is absurd, and this is abuse. If management is too goddamn gutless to put their foot down, then the practice is only going to spread.

I'm sorry, but that's idiotic. Why on earth would anyone want to play with a cook selected basically at random? Klobber can go f*ck himself. But even worse is management's complete disregard of this kind of behavior, which is making the site less fun for many many people. If this isn't considered gross abuse, if there isn't some kind of action taken, then management can share the warmth of my entire ass.

And for giggles, lemme repost this from the other thread:

You can thank the Emdizzle clearance for this shit - because there's no doubt in my mind that this is a direct result of that ruling.

And my point isn't even so much against that ruling. However, in my view, Emdizzle should have been cleared (as he was) and then the LOOPHOLE FUCKING CLOSED.

i just thought of this since none of you actually play with klobber would this not come under spamming of players inbox since he is sending invites to all players over a certain rank only.

None of us play with Klobber because he's put the first 5 pages of the scoreboard on his ignore list. Klobber's great at exploiting loopholes that management is too gutless to actually think about closing.

EDIT: now it looks like he's inviting one good team to each game so he can have some plausible deniability.
