tobinov and okelydokely2 [noted]

Postby Orwell on Tue Nov 06, 2007 10:26 pm

These are suspected of a Secret Alliance

Suspect users: tobinov and okelydokely2

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1150295

Myself (tobinov) and okeldokely2 were accused by rking72 and TheTeacher of cheating. I request an official review of our game to put this issue to rest.
Thank you.

Well to prove that a case is a secret alliance we like to see evidence from multiple games. If this is an incident isolated to one game as it appears to be, then it is noted but you guys will remain cleared.

just a quick clarification on "noted" status - as the reporter of myself, what ramifications will this have? (Is it a list or something?)
Are there any ramifications for the accusers in the game?
And when, if ever, does a "noted" become a "cleared?"

(sorry, new to the forums and relatively new to CC - I don't mean to bug ya)

No problem. Noted just indicates that its been looked at. It's really my own notation to place in the title so we don't waste our time opening the same threads.

I hesitate to put "cleared" on a secret alliance case since its pretty hard to prove that an alliance doesn't exist. In these cases the burden falls on the accuser to prove that the alliance does exist. If that can't be done, I mark the case as noted.

I know that people in general discussion recommended that you report yourself here. Thats a great idea if you are falsely accused of being a multi, and its not a bad idea if its about a secret alliance. It's just hard to say much about a case like this when the players don't appear guilty.
