its a freestyle game only 2 players and I ended the last round now he wont go this round so whats going to happen theres less than 2 hours left and if he does go i might not be around cause i got to go get surgery today and that would be cheating if i didnt get barely anytime for my turn

No, its just a ever popular strategy in freestyle, and also sort of a bug, that has been discussed time and time again.
Do not fret, just try and be around, and if you aren't no big deal, everyone misses a turn :)
