Great Scott and Darktrain [Cleared]

Postby Dapper Tom on Thu May 17, 2007 4:13 pm

<----begin copy---->

Subject line: Great Scott and Darktrain

These are suspected Multis/Secret Alliance (could be either)

Suspect users: Dapper Tom

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=441352

Comments: Most significantly, they are leaving really obvious undefended borders against each other and have vacated continents to allow each other to take bonuses.

Furthermore, these two users (who joined within a fortnight of each other) have played each other in about 44 games. In the game I am in at the moment, despite the fact that we are playing in realtime (not planned but everyone is online at the moment) neither one is around to chat when the other one is playing.

Thanks

Dapper Tom

looks like school friends playing together. There are a few others involved and most of the games are private. Could be secret alliances though.

yeah - you're probably right about them being friends. They are still leaving undefended borders against each other.

CO-Workers

Postby darktrain on Mon May 21, 2007 5:10 pm

We work together in the same building and play this Great game to pass time by. Dapper Tom great player and I have tried to explain that there is no multi account or secret alliance. When I play with GreatScott or anyone for that matter I usually wait until they draw first blood. Dapper Tom seemed to be the biggest threat having a big portion of the map after 1st 2nd turn. It is not my problem if GreatScott leaves certain area's un-fortified and yes I did attack him. I am an honest player and whenever I play games with 3 player's it always seems like there is a secret alliance. I have played numerious games with GreatScott and other co-works as private games and this was one of the first we made public due to people being short in the office to play a game. Dapper Tom I wish the best for you and I'm sorry that it came to this GL. Gratz on your Ranking as well.

They are not multis, and since that was your (Dapper Tom) main suspicion based on the game chat they will be able to keep playing with no blocks.

But darktrain/Great Scott: As a general warning, playing against someone in singles games may arouse suspicions of a secret alliance again in the future. If there is enough evidence you may be blocked from playing together....keep treating each other as opponents just like everyone else and you'll be fine :)
