reb - holding hostage - [Noted] KRK & DCR

Postby Evolution299 on Thu Feb 02, 2012 2:42 pm

<DELETE ME>
PLACE THE NAME OF THE ACCUSED IN THE SUBJECT LINE!!!

Accused:

reb

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy
Severe PM Abuse
Other: Holding a player hostage

Game number(s):

Game 10546763

Comments: reb has the game well in hand and I have but a couple of territroies while he is getting a bonus by holding Africa, and he wouldnt finish the game. He just kept adding to his pile of men and taking one territory at a time until I told him that I was reporting the game. Then he started to eliminate my guys.

He is being FAMO'd but this is well worth noting that he is a DB.

Just looking at the fact that he finished with only a stack of 15 troops AND the fact that on this map things can turn around in a single turn, I think it is and was blatantly obvious that he wasn't holding you hostage.

I have to agree with TheGeneral. judging on the map at the end of the game and based on the game log, it does not seem like he was holding you hostage. Unless you had like only one guy per territory and he was just taking one away from you every round which does not seem to be the case.

In an unrelated topic, has anyone ever noticed that the compass on that map is wrong? East and West and mixed up. :mrgreen:

If I'm not wrong, doodle is a map that seems to be made by a kid and the kids in US know the compass like this : Japan/China (East) is on the left side and Europe (West) is on the right side :lol:

This has been Noted as a Hostage Game. That type of gameplay detracts from the experience of other players, please refrain from this kind of activity again.
