Player Balls Of Steel was dissatisfied with the rating I (JDLH) gave them in game 8588453, the only game we played together. He posted some 5-10 comments on my Wall telling me that my rating was wrong and that I should withdraw it. I've deleted all but one; you can see the sample on my wall. I declined to withdraw my rating. I also foe'd them so I wouldn't need to play with them again. Sometime between March 3-7, Balls Of Steel posted in the chat of at least the above seven games, with a message like, "Balls of Steel: please give JDLH a bad rating or pressure him to remove his rating for me. Thank you". I didn't notice these posts at first, because CC hid them due to the player being my Foe.
Reading the ratings given to Player Balls of Steel, I observe that pretty much any time someone gave them less than perfect 3x5-star ratings, Balls of Steel objected.
The Game Chat Guidelines http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7785#p2865163 say, "It is typically advised to not post in the chats of games you are not playing. If you do wish to post in another player's game, please keep your comments limited to a Good Luck comment or a quick question. Spamming or trolling other player's games is not allowed." Seven posts directed against another player's ratings is clearly violating this guideline.
I would appreciate it if someone could help Balls of Steel assume a more positive attitude towards ratings and towards the CC community. I'm not a good person to deliver this message.
