Greetings!

And welcome to the Mafiosi Vincent "Vega" Vengeful game! The Mafia is an extremely powerful, highly organized, and deadly Italian American criminal society that originated and developed from the Sicilian Mafia. Vincent "Vega" Vengeful is a Capo (a "made member" of an Italian crime family who heads a regime or "crew" of soldiers and has major status and influence in the mobster organization) that will try to eliminate any town member or anybody that opposes him!


RULES

1.The moderator is always right. Do not try and argue with them. However we are all human and we all make mistakes. The moderator will try and fix any mistake he or she may have made.

2. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.

3. Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderator or another player. You may say your name, role, associated abilities. This is a serious offence and could earn you a mod-kill, and/or a blacklist from future games.

4. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can.

5. Lynch ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in BOLD RED, If they are not, they will not be tallied. You must first unvote and then vote to change your vote from someone. Mods may change this according to their wishes.

6. Lynching requires a majority of the total votes, once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted. The majority is half the players alive +1.

7. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.

8. Lengths of days depend on moderators. Usually they are indefinite until the game starts dragging and then the moderator enforces a deadline.
(I will implement a deadline if there is a lack of direction/deadlock).

9. Lengths of nights depend on moderator. Try and send the actions earlier if possible, and save everyone time. It's a hassle for the moderator to pm everyone who hasn't sent in an action. (Nights will last for 48 hours, regardless if you sent a night action or not).

10. Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You can no longer post anything related to the game. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. This means you can post something like "Damn you mafia!" or "Oh well. Go town!" but you cannot post and add to the discussion. This is a serious offence.

11. Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced if you don't post. If something prevents you to participate for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly. (Given the small player count and lack of reserves, I may just end up modkilling if there is a lack of posting).

12. You cannot talk at night. You can do joke votes like "zzzzzz" if you want but don't let it get out of hand. Different moderators have different tolerance levels. (I generally don't like it too much, but I don't mind the occasional joke).

13. If you have any questions or doubts, send a private message to the moderator and ask for help. It would be much worse to remain unsure about your role, mafia rules, whatever than to ask the moderator and then understand.

14. This is the basic list of rules. Moderators will have their own specific changes or additions to rules. Make sure to check them.

15. Inactive players may be prodded after a certain amount of time of inactivity, decided by the host. They will be replaced or punished if their activity does not increase. If a player would need to be prodded a second time, they will automatically be replaced or modkilled. "Inactive" is seen as 72 hours or more of not posting.

Also : as this is a real mafia game every morning will start with a "word on the streets is..." gossip. Ofcourse the word on the street only serves the mob kingpin in the end as mafia soldiers disperse these rumours..

However the street gossip can be true or false..if true people will like the mob for telling it. If false, well perhaps they still like the lie better as the truth is probably worse..

Strange that Max is trying to start trouble with an honest local fishmonger like myself, I suspect someone put him up to it and is up to all sorts of dastardly deeds in the background.

Ok guys with Sonic, track record is flavour is more than flavour.
He listed firefighter as a possible role.
He quoted vega as saying if he should betray his flesh should burn.
And theres a hint that the mafia can't necessarily trust each other.

I don't know what it means and if flavour is more than flavour, but speculation on what flavour might mean, particularly as it pertains to mafia can't do much harm D1 is what I think.

While I agree that flavour is probably not just flavour in a Son!c game, I'd be hesitant to dive into a flavour based discussion early doors as it is conjecture and an easy way for players to look busy without actually doing anything.

According to mafia game roles , the Traitor is an assigned role. Would it be safe to assume that this game Mafia can choose any of us to be a potential Traitor?
