Admittedly, its probably partly because I haven't been as active as I'd like but I've just got no strong reads today. It could be that scum is experienced and won't slip up, it could be that they are laying low or it could be a mix of the two or even that scum is composed of players I'm not that familiar with and thus haven't picked up on the oddities from my read through. I didn't particularly like Traf's last post. Too minimal and says very little and I am surprised that Son!c didn't go after him harder than he has but I can't say I've been convinced on either of them beyond a gentle poke and acknowledgement.

The way i feel about it is if i go nuts on Traf again i would be a bad boy. Perhaps never to be invited to a mafia game again - like the fuss i had with DDS in my game. He called it "eye bleeding torture" and started his own game to f*ck mine over - if you walk the walk to much people can use that as a easy excuse for decades if you know what i mean..

Also: seems everybody missed context on purpose or not?: I was asking if somebody else felt the same i was feeling (with Traf), if so i would go deeper... Now everybody "forgets" that first part..but nobody confirmed my feeling so whats with that?? That was a huge "detail" on the matter..Some seem to be "handy man" here fabricating own stuff or doing it on purpose i feel :D I won't forget tho :D

There's been lots of little points in D1 when I've had light scummy feelings about sonic.

To join the points together in a scummy line I'm thinking overall sonic has satiated his need to post with a lot of flavour assertions and so notgone Into a danger area as scum overextending/provoking.

Right now most suspect sonic.

jfm10 wrote:Game wise, this is a semi-open setup (known as The New Recruit), which is why we're starting with a night phase (N0). At this point, only two roles have been assigned: two goons (but everyone has been assigned a number corresponding to a role in either of the two setups). The two goons will then decide if they will recruit a third. If they recruit a third goon, town will gain a cop and another town jailkeeper at the expense of two vanilla townies. If they decide not to recruit anyone, town will consists of a jailkeeper and vanilla only. Town won't know which (well, any cop will, obviously), which is why this is a semi-open setup.

Players
1. Charle .... town
2. Extreme Ways
3. Kingm
4. Son!c ... town
5. strike wolf
6. Loose Cannon ... town
7. Pixar
8. Devante ... town
9. kongming3
10. jfm10 ... town
11. Trafalgarlaw01
12. Maxleod ... town

Ragian assigned the 2 scum and they could choose a third or not but they will be strong.
For those labeled town you are not good enough for ragians scum party and the remaining 4 are who the 2 scum would have chosen from.

Yes , my vote on you is a contradiction.

Sonic, I really don't see the point in second/pre guessing what scum would/should do tonight.

Sonic if you are trying to imply you are jailkeeper and intend on jailing yourself thats suboptimal play IF you are a jailkeeper.

Imprison someone else and you might either imprison the goon sent to carry out the hit or the intended target.

That goes for whoever the jailkeeper actually is.

Oh boy.

This is getting ridiculous.

If this was a mafia game i would not believe it.

PS: you don't wanna get it and that's fine. And speaking of a self-targetting jailkeeper. Maybye he can lock himself up, but who is gonna set him free in the morning?

Night scene

Oslo, late summer of 1993. Walking around in large city like Oslo was uncostumed to Ihsahn, having been brought up on a farm near Notodden in the Telemark county of Norway. But what was there to fear, meeting a fellow bandmate? Although the recent absence of Euronymous did weird him out a bit, Ihsahn felt proud that Euronymous had endorsed their EP.

He looked at the address once again, but couldn't really figure out where to knock. Then he heard a noise from the alley and spotted a figure in the dark. "BĆ„rd? Is that you, mate? I can't find the exact door. BĆ„rd?" Ihsahn ventured into the alley with a sigh well aware of his friend's annoying antics. But as light fell on the figure in the alley, he stopped short and asked sheepishly, "What are you doing here?" There was no reply and as a wolf, the figure was over him.

Ihsahn of Emperor (Pixar) and vanilla townie has been killed.

While Emperor plays black metal, the band's inspiration draws heavily on classical music with lots of room for classical elements. And if that doesn't float your boat, I'd watch the video just for the turtle-like shoulder pads that Ihsahn is wearing.

It is now D2 and the shop is open for business.

With 11 players alive, it takes six to lynch. If players fail to post two real life days in a row, they will be prodded (to the extend that your idiot mod realises the transgression), and if they continue to fail, I will consider mod killing. Let's make this an active game. (Sorry for the stick rather than the carrot, but it is black metal...)

Very strange hit on Pix. And a flavor story that seems to have its importance..

Pretty sure the adress / door he was looking for in Oslo was the adres of the Helvete record shop from Euronymus. So perhaps all that flavor research is not wasted after all..

And Ragians second post "It is now D2 and the shop is open for business" is also a reference to the Helvete shop i believe.

But why Pix and why that flavor story?

Im gonna reread D1 first and look a few things up in wiki.

My penalty is over, I can vote again :)

Just reading the last few posts of yesterday, @Loose, do you think Sonic would have recruited someone, like Extreme?

If Sonic is scum and a recruiting scum I think he would have been inclined to throw a curveball.
Whilst I think most others would have been inclined to avoid recruiting Extreme as too obvious - with Sonic my guess is that wouldn't apply so much and I think he might have been more inclined than many not to have recruited too.

What I do think is that any detective should either vote for a guilty player or for a player they have not investigated (in case they die before revealing).
I also think since there was a successful kill last night jailkeeper (s) should vote for players they didn't jail.
And that a mass of early indicative votes would provide cover for detective and jailkeeper to hide themselves in.

So I'll vote early for the player I was most suspicious (no real surprise) of end of D1.
vote Sonic

In terms of why scum targetted Pixar, I think they went for a low poster (a low poster could have been indicative of potentially having powers to scum) and also someone they think less likely to be jailed. I don't have any immediate ideas as to WHO would have been likely to have thought like that - maybe others do - maybe others disagree with my logic on WHY?

Yes i recruited EW. My scum partner had absolutely no say in the matter. And then tonight the three of us killed Pixar because we were bored as hell. Ew even said "no not pixar" ("because Devante always suspects Pix").. "We better do Strike, anybody on JFM"s scum list will do fine, or even that Loose cannon because in the morning first thing Loose will do is vote you again Son..but since i recruited EW and killing Pix over Loose made sense to me the other two scummies (the third one is Traf by the way) had to follow my lead.
