Now back to JFM's theory how he knew Charle was town. He got me and Charle right and i was already thinking Dev, Loose and Max on the town side here.
JFM says Ragian assigned the goon roles. And only the town roles are random. The set-up is not 100% clear on that so this is interesting. The way i got it was Ragian used "random.org" to assign
all roles (including the 2 goons).
Then the 2 goons could recruit (the game is called "The New Recruit" afterall) any player they liked on N0.
It says so in the wiki page to, so they can recruit whoever they want and just like Charle already said they would have most likely recruited a very experienced player.
JFM has a point that this set-up requires experienced mafia players. In any case is JFM right about the New Recruit being in this so-called "scum party group".
THE PLANSo here is the plan (regardless if JFM is right or not):
Group A = "JFM's scum party group"
Group B= "JFM's town group"I still think Euronymus is the original jailkeeper so if that is right (only the player called Euronymus knows): Euronymus protects Charle tonight.
The cop choses one from group A.
The second jailkeeper choses one from group B (he can choose Charle too because we don't know if the Euronymous theory is correct). And in the case there is only one jailkeeper the jailkeeper needs to protect Charle anyways.
Important:
All we actually need here is that the goons won't take the risk going for Charle:
So again: Euronymus protects Charle
(and in the case there is no Euronymus:The second jailkeeper choses somebody from group B and can chose Charle too)
(and in the case there is no second jailkeeper: The only jailkeeper (not called Euronymus) choses somebody from group B and can chose Charle too).
This should give Charle enough protection while having the idea there is a possibility that another unknown member from B is protected from nightkill aswell.
This way scum is almost forced to choose their target in group A, (and experienced players are most likely their target anyways).
Then, by power of elimination (most likely 3 out of 6 are scum if JFM's theory is correct), we should very quickly see result on JFM's theory (with cop actions and night kills in the same scum party group), while protecting Charle at the same time.
If JFM is right 3 out of those 6 are the scum we need to find. And we need a plan anyways to prevent our cop and jailkeepers chosing the same target.
I like it! (ofcourse im in the town group rofl)
