Senate Map - A funny history

So the Senate Map has never been my favorite - it is symmetrical, with weird names for senators and an uninspiring theme. Just the same, I remember watching the thread while it was created and therefore it is a map I think of now and then.

The funny thing is, I spent the last 2+ years believing the map was made by AAFitz (instead of the real creator, Fitz69). I guess I just remember the name Fitz from the thread and then later got to know AAFitz on the forums and I never doubted the connection. I was positive that AAFitz created this map, which does indeed seem strange since he never spends any time in the forum.

Anyway, I just thought you might enjoy the realization I just had.

I agree that the names are weird, but I suspect if we all had a big poll for which names we want to see on the map, 90% of them would stay the same.

They're a couple thousand miles—not to mention double-a-15—apart from one another ;) :P

Indeed it is an interesting map---an unusual gem, of sorts, of the early Foundry.

It's the first map I won on. It has some nostalagistical value to me ;)

I kinda like it, even though there are suppossed to be 100 senate seats...

Oh well, maybe there will be a revamp

A revamp would make it lame, IMO senitors Mary and Jaun are the best 2 senitors we have ever had! Besides maybe Dick and Jane.
