what the revamp? i agree it's disgusting compared to the original.

sorry fuzzy but all those shades of green are awful

However - I do like the idea... given some clean and some work - it would work...

Marvs is kindof - just a shape in the middle of a flat background?!

i'm not saying brazil doesn't need a revamp. i'm just saying the current one is not the way to go.

Actually - I think you're wrong...

The premis for the map is good - execution is something we can help fix...

I'm not sure either....if you have IM we could chat sometime and figure something out. I just know I don't have much time right now, and I haven't for quite a while.

yeti_c wrote:The premis for the map is good - execution is something we can help fix...

And that's why I'm asking for help :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And for everybody else, I don't care if you post your opinion of my latest revamp of the Brazil map, but please also post them in the Official thread so I don't have to flip between threads when trying to figure out what to do.

Thanks :D

Well, it looks like some one started a reramp on it and I think he is doing a great job on it so far. Even if he stoped now it would be better then the old map.

Montreal has been revamped by WM already. The original map maker said he wanted all the colors and whatnot the same, so WM did an AMAZING job like always with what was set in front of him.

Check out the [Official] Brazil Revamp thread in the main foundry.
It's not the same as lanyards, but that's the one right now that is official and endorsed by Marv (although the other one may be too, it just hasn't been noticed by the mods as "Official").

germany is disgusting. it needs a revamp badly as well. i personally think the graphics are just as bad as the brazil map and the background is very poor.

Germany and ancient greece seems to be getting alot of attention ill add them to the list.

I also feel that australia needs a touchup, just a small one to make the boarders more consistant.

Obviously you've never grown up with dyslexia, its a rather touchy subject. I was hoping people would jsut know.

But anyway another map that need touched up is Africa.

africa just needs a minor touch up. im fine with how aussie is right now. but germany should be the very next in line. if they could improve it graphics-wise, i would actually play it more than once.
