It's not that bad actually - one of my eyes has gone a bit more short-sighted than the other, so it looks like I'll be needing a new pair of spectacles
What does help, is that it explains the recent (couple of months) increase in headaches/migraines, which I had partially attributted to work-related stress, new job etc. Apparently my current glasses are slightly out of shape too - no surprise given the frequency with which my children rip them from my face and sit on them - which can cause additional tiredness for people with astigmatism...
So, all I need to do now is convince the job that I need new glasses for VDU work, take the wife shopping (
), and some new glasses will be mine
