Fractal Mapper - A map making tool

Hey guys, i found this nice program on http://www.nbos.com, is called "Fractal Mapper". It seems to be very powerfull, just check out this maps:

General view:

A zoom to a map:

Image

It seems to work as an 'autocad' with the vectors and layers and all that designing stuff. You can download the trial, but you can't save your maps :( . You can have some fun experimenting until getin' the complete version.

interesting to say the least. it doesn't come up with fancy images but i guess it can be used as a starting point to create something interesting and then add stuff in photoshop

Yeah, and I think you can export the Fractal Mapper documents as vectors (i'm thinking of the WMF format images) to Photoshop or Corel since the program uses vectors...

Intresting ill downlaoad and test run it over the weekend. Might even add it to map making tools :)
