everyone seems to be miising the most basic premise of what makes the word public 'public' by definition.
We're not missing it. We just don't see it as as much of a problem as you do.
As long as there are still spots open to everyone, it's still a public game, in my mind.
How can you say tou ...

Re: reserved positions in public games
Hello, Everyone in CC seems to be completely missing my point about "reserving positions in public games" ( an oxymoronic statement in my opinion). Once you start reserving positions for your friends and buddies, team game or not, then the PUBLIC games are no longer public at all. Are you all so ...

Re: reserved positions in public games
These reserved spot don't exclude anyone. Unless all the spots in the game have been reserved, it's still open to the public.
At first, my thoughts were "what does it matter, except in team games?". The difference between playing a group of friends who happen to join at the same time and ...

Re: reserved positions in public games
Seems like a great benefit to be able to choose your teammates rather than getting stuck with whoever joins your game.
Another player that completely misses the thrust of my argument - " if you start excluding players through reservations to allow to pick and choose teammates etc., then these ...

Re: reserved positions in public games
What's the point of having a reserved spot in a private game that only people that know the password can get to?

Re: reserved positions in public games
Hello, thanks for the input. My point isn't that it's not a conveneience or a solution to team game problems but that you should no longer consider reserved position games "public" games - they're the exact opposite when you start excluding who can play - c'mon , it's ludicrous to say otherwise ...

reserved positions in public games
Hello, Please rescind the practice of allowing reserved positions in so-called "public" games. If everyone starts reserving positions in games they will no longer be public. It's hypocritical to call them public if this continues to be allowed. Just ridiculous in my opinion that it's being permitted ...
