Re: Battle of Agincourt map
Personally I think that'd be a great idea. the only minor problem you'd run into is that the english position would have all of the "mortar" archer units since the French hadn't picked up on the use of long bows in battle which is what contributed to them being slaughtered in this battle, so if ...

Re: Peloponesian wars 431 BC-FRESH UPDATE page 1-2
that's awesome I'm glad to hear there won't be any bonuses, that would be a map I think I'd definitely play on quite a bit, probably be fun for doubles.

Re: Bombs Away! Naval Map
Read through your discussion and thought i'd just throw you guys a couple ideas to discuss whilst I pass through.
The historical battles idea is a nice one the only problem is most of them did have enormous fleet differences after the British really started building up in the 1400s-world war 2 ...

Re: Peloponesian wars 431 BC-FRESH UPDATE page 1-2
Love the starting image, this will be a great a strategic map by the looks of it, lots of maneuvering possibilities as well. Heck I'd even be happy to see it without continent bonuses, just a straight battle to the finish. Also this is way different than the Ancient Greece map now, so I don't think ...

Re: Michigan Map
I also am from Michigan and it'd be awesome to play on a Michigan map, you could maybe even include the lakes in some way. Oh and Chicago so those of us from the west coast of Michigan can conquer them for a change.

Re: Peloponesian wars 431 BC-experimental draft page 1
I think this would make a great map, and based on the preliminary image you've got up it looks like it'd be a good one to play one. SO in answer to your general question, yes I think another Ancient Greek map would be just fine especially with better game play mechanics.
Also you could probably ...

Re: Trench Warfare! V5 Legend goodness Pg 1/10 [I] [GP]
Awesome, I'm not horribly familiar with the bombard feature as I typically don't play maps that feature it, but that's great that it works that way.

Re: Trench Warfare! V5 Legend goodness Pg 1/10 [I] [GP]
Alright first off I want to say I love the idea of a World War 1 style trench war map, as a history major the world wars are are probably my favorite parts of history to study, though there are others up there but that's really irrelevant at present.

Re: The Assoult Cubes Suck
You're right, dice are way more random than the assault cubes, assault cubes < fair. dice < fair but > assault cubes. maybe someone can do some data mining to prove assault cubes are as fair as dice? lol.

Dissappointment with Map changes
First time to the forums here, but I felt this was a good enough situation. I have to say that the changes to the classic map and the "centerscape" (read: middle earth) map are entirely ridiculous. I'm sure some much more minor changes could be made to the classic map since it's technically only a ...
