Personally,
I'm not fond of the large black "X"'s..
I think it would look better just having big bold dark border lines to indicate impassables
instead of these huge "x"'s

Map making is not just for experienced programmers.

But

It is for experienced graphic designers.
For even if you can come up with a great tactical map
it will never get passed the design phase unless your a good graphic artist.

Played freestyle and it is still a form of turn based just the turn order is whom ever moves first..
But freestyle is a closer step to these time moves and is a little better then the basic turn moves in my opinion.

Not saying turn based or freestyle is bad, but these timer moves are in my opinion ...

I can see your point, but what makes this site so-special and dear to at least my heart is the map/game crafting feature.

The Initial Lords/Ladies starting places are listed on the Legend at the side of the map...
Does Actually say which Lord starts where - since all Lords have multiple affiliations through out the map..

it appears (in my opinion) based on the last few fixes and updates the text became hard to read again - so I will go ahead and address this issue..

People like the city words better then the tags...

Made all ports look a like for clarity (though do not think it was needed)

Areas are still color coordinated by color in their name..

Removed city icon for clarity - since it's only a back ground ...

I have had another say they prefer Leeds - but since I had two people :
One saying Maidstone would be a better description, while another player is saying they prefer Leeds - I went back to my initial source document which uses Leeds...

Therefore what might get an award today would not maintain it's status a few years from now - so why build a record of what was once a good ...
