Who's playing it? I know I am!

I proposed a similar thing in the Baseball thread. Another advantage of inventing our own league is that we can put teams anywhere -- nor are we limited to exactly 32 territories.

But then, in the end unless there's some sort of gameplay gimmick, it's just another standard USA map, isn't it? There ...

Yes, that is a rather big issue.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this sort of map, because we do kind of have enough maps of the U.S., but on the other hand, Football is pretty awesome.

I just had a breakthrough with this but NFL, thought I was original and then saw your post =( Amazing idea though, great minds think a like!

Basic map layout: United States (minus Alaska and Hawaii)

Each territory would be an NFL team (in its respected state). States with multiple teams would have multiple regions. Simple map but could be a lot of fun.

The site rules say to use common sense...I am by reading rules/strats and playing on a smaller map of the classic RISK board...I would rather play 20+ doodle earth maps in one day ...

Ok to answer your question...it was about the same amount of time. NORMALLY, Doodle Earth goes quicker. And I still don't know what rt means...

and there's not a person on this site who can win 2/3's of 1v1 sequential games, especially on doodle

dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s. In doodle you never have the game wrapped up even if the opponent is down to 1 or 2 terts because usually you still only get 3 troops per round also. In classic, someone usually gains an advantage pretty much right away and it's over by ...

Actually he won the second game which was started 3 minutes after joining. I have my Masters degree and a 5 figure game history to pull from, and I fail to believe any of his defense. I don't know about anyone else, but the first dozen games here I played, I got my ass handed to me and took forever ...

How so? Being a free member allows me 4 games at a time. Doodle earth is 18 regions, making it a quick game. Classic RISK map is many many more regions. You do the math...more games > less games to get me through my work day...

Members like you ruin this site. I am brand new today and have pretty good strats (there is a strat forum...) on top of playing RISK in real life...maybe he is a multi, maybe he isn't...but any new member who wins a high % of games is automatically tagged as a multi...
