Ever since the "site downtime" in early January 2026, it has been impossible to create new Scenarios. Can this problem be fixed?

If it can't be fixed, please advise the CC community that this feature no longer works.

I often play games on the Beta System. I have also created many scenarios, some of which were accepted as Alpha. Ever since the recent downtime, all of my scenario "works in progress" have disappeared.

Can those scenarios be recovered? The same thing happened several months ago, and they were ...

There are problems with the Beta System. The games from "Alpha" were duplicated on the Beta, but that's not a big deal. However I was playing some scenarios there (and working on several other scenarios) and now almost all of them have disappeared.

Is anyone using the Unity Interface in the Game Settings?

Thank you Head Tech chipv! My scenarios are restored now. I wish there was an easier way to get them playtested... the Beta players are few, and invitations to multiplayer scenarios take a long time to fill up.

Did the update have anything to do with scenarios that were deleted from the Beta Site? I was working on about 20 scenarios. Now all but 5 of them are gone. I'd like to get them back for playtesting.

I would like to see more Scenarios for everyone to try, not just Beta testers. Could that be some kind of event?

I like to create scenarios at the Beta site. I made one called "E. Hemisphere Imperialism" using this map, with one human (me) vs. all nine bots, is challenging and fun even though the bots are stupid. So far I haven't played it against other humans.

I've worked on several scenarios but only a few ...

Are there any geographical barriers (mountains or forest) that would appear on the map? At first glance it resembles the Madagascar map -- it's also an island nation.

Now I hope 2022 is the year that this map can be advanced to beta. Is there anything I can do to help?

This map should be beta-tested soon, before more new elements are synthesized! Element 119 would begin period 8 ...

I have made some scenarios. I designated them as "all human"... however some of them appear as Bot games in the Beta system scenario list. Whenever I make them "all human" and try to re-submit them, they revert to Bot games. It's frustrating.

It seems like creating multiple "cc_tester" accounts, and then logging in and out for each turn on each account, would be a very time-consuming process...

Of course I have used the bots for testing my scenarios, but they are fairly stupid, and it's not a real playtest.

Actually that "Victors United" map IS in color, once the game starts. The territory colors are shades of yellow, blue, and green that blend together nicely. The B&W map is only for display.

Thanks to iancanton (or whoever did it). Some of my scenarios are now available on the Beta site for playtesting. Some of them are bot games, others aren't.
I invite anyone to give them a try!

Apparently I can now see some of my scenarios under "Start Games" & "Scenarios" -- but when I start a game, it says: "Leave this page open! Please keep this window open to be alerted when your game is ready." Does that mean I have to leave that window open for hours or days until enough people join?
