If you goto empire state building check the times and roll in about 45 minutes before the observation deck closes.

Oh, another thing - if you're going to be taking the subway a lot, you might save money by getting one-day fun passes, or if you're there long enough, unlimited metro-cards (I think the shortest duration for those is a week).

Keeping this up for a few more views...Looks like i'll be offering €50 instead of €20, but the idea seems to be attracting enough feedback over all the forums i use.
