I just find it amusing people are throwing such a fit over something so easy to work around. I mean aside from bob being disabled, did this really affect your turns in any way?
Personally, I rolled better than I have in weeks with the sweedish chef. Sweedish Chef for president of CC!

Re: Do you let your rolling affect your strategy?
freestyle just requires a different kind of strategy. Its more about taking your turns at the most strategic time. And I can definitely see where that makes it easier to get caught up in the moment. At least in standard you know you have 1 hour to take your turn and nothing is going to change in ...

Do you let your rolling affect your strategy?
I guess what I'm asking is, do you play more defensive if you are rolling poorly in a game? I'm not talking about when playing defense is the better option. For example, I was recently in a game where I was just getting demolished on the dice, but I managed to rebuild to respectable status and took ...

Re: epic dishonor, amirite?
Your poll is pretty vague. Diplomacy has its place in the game as it does with everything, but it certainly isn't required and lots of people do quite well at the game using little to none of it.

Re: two account on the same pc
I sent a PM to one of the multi-hunter mods when my roommate who is also a CC player moved in letting them know that there would be multiple accounts playing from this IP. I never got a response, but I've yet to have any kind of issue, so I assume everything is cool.

Re: manipulating the other players
I see no problem with this. Ultimately its up to each player to decide how to take their turn and what to do with their troops. All you did was make a suggestion, not even a threat (Like attack A or I'm going to come after you next turn). B can easily ignore you if attacking would not be to their ...

Re: What are the general guidelines/rules for account sittin
I'm curious as to why someone would have to set themselves at a distinct disadvantage purely because they are account sitting. I mean, it is a legit strategy to have a drop on b, b attack, reinforce a, a attack. Abusing freestyle is how people win at freestyle. Everyone does it, so if you're not ...

Re: I know war is unfair but this is taking the .......
I really feel freestyle games are great if you are able to check the site often because there is so much tactical advantage to gain by being able to take your turn at the most strategic time. But if you don't have that luxury, you're better off avoiding freestyle as people exploit the hell out of it.

Re: How do I approach this situation?
Someone please explain why you wouldn't attack someone 1 vs 1? This is no team victory in this situation. Only one of you can win. Why would you give your opponent the chance to setup properly? Yes, you had a truce, but again there can be only one winner so if you 2 are left, why wouldn't it be ...

I know I've played a game on Europe 1914 before and I do remember enjoying it. Though some guy complained that the victory conditions were lame because I won them in fog of war, haha.

Re: How do I approach this situation?
This is why I dislike truces in general, but it should be common sense that if you're the only 2 left, truce is off and you're going to kill each other. The goal is always to win the game and if you can cut into the other player this turn with being the only 2 left, you should probably do so.

Is it possible to get a map like Feudal War? If so, how would that work as there are only 6 castles?

I would say no, generally I would not cash, unless I felt that I was in any danger of possibly being eliminated and having my cards go to my opponents.

You may want to check out a map like Feudal War then. Every player starts with a castle and attacks outward from there.

Re: Card Generator - How does it work?
I want to know as well. I agree, its particularly important with nuclear spoils. If I hold one of my own territory cards in a game, I want to know whether or not my opponent can hold that card as well. Or can I safely amass troops on that territory knowing that I will be the one to decide when its ...

Re: invisible game from other players
your best bet is of course to get premium, because then you can reserve spots in a game. Only one of you would need it.
Aside from that, if you are trying to create a game and then join it really quick, have everyone be ready to do a search for the game number right after its created. The game ...

Re: Looking at a friend's account
I agree with 72o. Obviously this is assuming you are not in any of those games in question, because then you would have extra information as to whether or not he had a set. One of my best friends plays too and when we're hanging out we frequently pull up our games and talk about strategy and what ...

Re: Running out of time, spoils
I agree with this topic completely. Especially because not ending a turn is one of two things. An accident and you're penalizing someone for making an honest mistake. Or its someone trying to exploit the mechanics of the game in a very questionable way and by doing so also intentionally delaying the ...

my bad guys, playing with some of my friends who are still new recruits and I invited them to maps that would normally be restricted to them, but we were playing private games, so I'm assuming thats why it worked.
