Derr...can't you see it is the newcomers (ie; prospective new members) that get hit almost every time; hence the disproportionate score for those dicks like BYR that only ever play these games, to the detriment of the club, which by my book should be doing everything to encourage new members

Quite simply, this format is driving potential new (PAYING) members away in droves. Many high ranking current players only ever play this format, in co-ordinated teams, sucking in newbies so to improve their score, to the detriment of the whole club. I can name names; in code; JR, BYR D, S, etc etc ...

It is noticeable in the public game list that only lower ranks, with a few notable exceptions, post singles games and take on all-comers. Is cowardice rife in the upper ranks and protection of one's score paramount? Or is this symptomatic of our scoring system?
