So how about when you take over the territories you absorb the troops that already are on the territories.

All cards you turn in become your territories.

All troops already on the territories become your troops.

I like the idea of medals for spoils. I mean after all, a different type of spoil is a different type of game, requiring a different strategy. The same is said for Free For All, fog of war, doubles, etc.

I think in order for it to truly work, all of the territories you take over will have to become a single troop (even including territories you already own).

Or do you guys prefer a type of flat rate trade in (although I think this may be too much of a game changer, especially if someone had the ...

i like ninja because to me i picture a person deceptively getting past enemy lines and taking control of their territory.

I like the idea of the color of your cards determining the number of troops you get on the territories you take over.

If you did that it would have to be a small variation of the number of troops you get per color trade in.

Well you dont get something if you turn in territories you already own. Also, your opponents can take your territories just as easily as you can take theirs. I think that kind of balances out the fairness.

As a fan of nuclear spoils, I think logically people will also like the exact opposite.
