Re:
Anyway do you guys ever discuss anything on this thread aside from how good it used to be? Quit living in the past...
Hear, hear! Let's talk about how good it's going to be, like when we all have nanobots in our fingers to anticipate our psychic impulses and type for us before we even think ...

...or make the 25 a single territory, and the 50 a divided territory (3 or 4 or even 2, or even one, but I think divided would be better) with a bonus of 3 for holding all territories that make up the 50 and -2 for the undivided 25 - so that the bullseye is easy to hold if you take the 25 (only one ...

I dug this idea when some guy suggested it in June, and I still dig it now. My comments remain the same:
People will probably hate your idea - there's a bit of resistance to maps that aren't instantly comprehensible, like the crossword map (which I reiterate is genius) - but that doesn't mean it ...

For the record, I do consider abortion the ending of a human life, and the morning after pill likewise - I just don't find it useful to orient a debate on that question, as it ultimately comes down to what you consider a human life - Spuzzell's definition or jay_a2j's. And the dialogue never seems ...

I really think the whole question is symptomatic of the larger problem. The fact that society is organized in a way that any young couple is likely to find a pregnancy a huge burden is really pretty crazy if you think about it. I think we're just so used and attached to the underlying principles ...

What's wrong with a good severed head? You must be one of those brutes who chased Vesalius out of Padua. Clinging to taboos against dissection is just as prudish.TitusFinn wrote:Our society is fucked up when it comes to sex. I mean come on! You can show a severed head on TV, but you can't show a breast.

The consequences being that you have a 0.01% chance of pregnancy (with contraceptives that is). I mean by your argument, you should never fly unless you're willing to accept crashing etc.
I don't think you should fly if you're not willing to accept the possibility of crashing. I don't really see ...

I understand your pain, 2dimes. After all, your guilty feet have got no rhythm, so it's perhaps for the best that you're not dancing in that condition. But I understand there's some sort of insect parasite that when inserted, Wrath-of-Khan-like, into your brain, will go a bang-bang-bang till your ...
