I'm baaaaa-aaaaack!
Long leave of absence, then checked out the site for the first time in about a year a couple weeks ago -- I've played only a couple games since my return, and this one is turning into a dramatic game -- Game 2270251

When would you go to and what would you do?

I suggested a "no-dice" alternative months ago: it was called "mutual annihilation"; each attacking army automatically destroys one defender, and each defending army automatically destroys one attacker (so if you want to attack a territory that has 1 defender, you need to attack from a territory ...

Re: Population Limits
Take for example, you have a Esc. Games, and you have 100 armies, and the next cash is worth 100, you have a set, and you cash it, you cant deploy any armies?
What if then take your opponent down to 10 men, then he cashes for 105, he now tries to take you out, and does successfully..
That's ...

Population Limits
How about an option in new games to set a Maximum # of Armies on the board? For example, you could set it to 100, and when there are a hundred armies on the board, you can't get any more until some of them get wiped out. If you had armies coming to you but the limit was already reached, your new ...

Re: "Fortify Banner"
I think it would be benificial to have the "Fortify" banner centered between the "End fortification" banner and "fortify to" column because, in an adjacent game, if you just miss by a millimeter or so it ends your turn. If your still contemplating a fortification and hit "End fortify by mistake ...

^I agree. Why keep playing the game...but why do the points disappear? That does not make sense. In any other game format, the deadbeat, no matter if someone takes all their armies or not, they lose points. The not losing any points is what doesn't make sense to me.

One thing I've noticed about the dice.... If I get hosed on a roll, and then roll again right away, I usually get hosed again. However, if I pause for a few seconds before hitting the Attack button again, I have better luck. I think the script is partially time-based the way it picks numbers from ...

Auto-Attack until 1/2 of attacking armies are destroyed
When you Auto-Attack , the computer keeps rolling dice until half of your attacking armies are destroyed.
You then have the option to Auto-Attack again, which will again cause the computer to keep rolling until half of your remaining armies are destroyed (or until your attacking force is reduced ...
