In one of my games, an opponent made several comments during the game in game chat. The game is now over and these comments seem to be gone. Is there some way to remove your own comments from the game chat after they have been posted? Or am I missing something?

I think this is a reasonable suggestion. Perhaps a once per game 24 hour extension on your turn. Some days it can be tough to be online to play.
