Re: Gold Rush - v0.1

The map seems similar to the '8 thoughts', 'castle lands' and 'Atlantis' maps considering its circular lay-out, so it would require some special gameplay to set it apart from those. But that should not be too hard.

Could be a good addition to the current maps. With the asteroid so centralized one ...

Re: Spaceness, V2.5 Pg 1+3

I'm game. I don't have time to do the heavy lifting anymore but I was willing to help the last guy who wanted to resurrect it as well. What will you need?

I should also note that I've had 3 or so years of Photoshop experience since I initially created this map.

Re: Spaceness, V2.5 Pg 1+3

Amazingly, this seems to be a map that is totally incapable of ever being finished, no matter who takes charge of it... Sigh. One of my most horrifically failed attempts ever.

Re: Spaceness, V2.5 Pg 1+3

Oaktown, when my friend and I originally conceived this map we didn't have much of a story in mind, I'll be honest. But to me, RISK (including the many versions of it that are on this site) hasn't been so much about a plot as it has been about strategic gameplay. The original intent of this map was ...

Re: Spaceness

My original idea for this was that the spacenesses are unidentified alien ship that are so powerful that they were capable of wiping out this whole star system and that the people on the planets had to band together to stop it from happening.
(in case this is useful to anyone)

Re: Spaceness Map(v0.9 BETA, page 15) [vacation]

Obviously, I haven't been able to get any work done here. As time moves on I've become increasingly busy and am able to fit less and less time for this into my schedule... As of now, I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish this map, if ever. I'm really sorry to anyone who might have been looking ...

Re: Spaceness Map(v0.9 BETA, page 15)

I hope I can get it together... I think I'm going to have to drop the idea of making territories built into the planet images themselves, that's just way too much effort and probably wouldn't look that good anyway but I should be able to start working on this after my finals (hopefully).

Re: Whats so good about religion?

nice job you religious fanatics. So far rather than defend your ideologies, you decide to attack one person who is smart enough to know your apparent misguidance towards how you view life.
Defend themselves against what? Your name-calling? You didn't make any kind of attack for them to defend ...

a bit confusing,
but good.

My only question is why is Ness0 pink and all the other Ness# are grey?
Its a combination of the lighting and the blending mode I used.

The holdup is the apparent suckiness... I need to redo the graphics completely I think, since I'm not happy with the existing ones anymore, and neither is anyone else.

Re: Spaceness Map(v0.9 BETA, page 15) [Final Forge]

For the name...why not try space wars...space battle?

Galaxtic conquers.....conquers of the galaxy?

(Im not a good name maker.)

The graphics are good.
I think this is close to becoming an offical map! ;)

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm thinking we're going back to the drawing board ...

Re: Unknown Virus Kills Off Most of Humanity

With no responsibilities left, I'd probably devote my remaining life to trying to build a lightsaber.
And the last option makes no sense, why collect this stuff if no one will look at it anyway? As long as it stays on this planet its just as safe with you as it was where you found it.
